Training of Trainer (TOT) pendampingan tunanetra yang dilaksanakan di Malino, Kab. Gowa, Ahad (22/11/2020).

Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id — Sahabat Netra sukses gelar Training of Trainer (TOT) pendampingan tunanetra yang dilaksanakan di Malino, Kab. Gowa, Ahad (22/11/2020).

TOT pendampingan tunanetra merupakan kegiatan pelatihan yang ditujukan kepada calon relawan Sahabat Netra sebagai awal dari pengenalan dunia tunanetra serta mengenai tata cara pendampingan tunanetra.

Tema dalam kegiatan ini “Pembekalan Skill Pendampingan Tuna Netra untuk Mewujudkan Sinergitas Bersama Sahabat Netra”.

Kegiatan yang berlangsung selam tiga hari ini mengajarkan mengenai penting bagi sahabat netra dalam upaya pendampingan ketunanetraan kedepannya.

Kendati demikian, agar calon relawan dapat mengetahui cara – cara pendampingan bagi teman-teman penyandang disibiltas netra.

Awi selaku ketua panitia mengucapkan rasa syukur atas terlaksananya kegiatan ini.

Menurutnya, kegiatan ini merupakan bukti nyata kontribusi kepada negeri untuk memajukan bangsa khususnya dalam aspek pendidikan bagi penyandang disabilitas netra.

Selain itu, ia juga berterima kasih kepada semua pihak khususnya Organisasi yang konsentrasi terhadap isu disabilitas netra yang telah hadir dan berkontribusi dalam menyukseskan kegiatan TOT ini.

“Saya ucapkan banyak terimah kasih kepada seluruh teman – teman SLB-A YAPTI, PERTUNI dan Inisiator yang sempat hadir berpartisipasi dalam menyukseskan Kegiatan ini,” ujarnya kepada Karebaindonesi.id.

“Saya harap melalui kegiatan ini, kita sama sama menjadi penggerak yang peduli terhadap teman – teman peyandang disabilitas netra,” sambung mahasiswa STIE Wirabakti ini.

Awi juga berpesan, semoga kegiatan seperti ini akan terus berlangsung dan kita semua bisa sama-sama peduli, karena jika bukan kita siapa lagi yang akan berperan dalam hal ini.

Sementara itu, Kepala Sekolah SLB-A YAPTI (Yayasan Pembinaan Tunanetra Indonesia) Kota Makassar, Subu B. mengapresiasi kegiatan TOT yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Komunitas Sahabat Netra.

“Kegiatan seperti ini yang di butuhkan anak-anak kita di SLB-A YAPTI Makassar,” ucapnya, Jum’at (20/11) kemarin.
