Karebaindonesia.id – Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Nadiem Makarim mengonfirmasi bahwa sekolah akan dibuka kembali pada Januari 2021 mendatang.
Mendikbud berencana akan mengadakan kembali belajar secara tatap muka di sekolah yang berlaku untuk semua zona meski pandemi Covid-19 belum reda.
Dengan demikian, peta zonasi penyebaran Covid-19 tidak menjadi acuan dalam pembukaan kembali proses belajar mengajar secara tatap muka di sekolah.
Dalam penerapannya, Pemerintah Daerah akan berwenang mutlak pada izin untuk sekolah yang akan melaksanakan belajar mengajar secara tatap muka.
“Peta zonasi risiko tidak lagi menentukan pemberian izin tatap muka, tapi Pemda yang menentukan dengan cara yang paling gradual,” ungkapnya pada Jumat, 20 November 2020 kemarin.
Tambahnya, meski sekolah sudah kembali dibuka, semua keputusan dikembalikan kepada orang tua siswa yang mengizinkan anaknya kembali belajar secara tatap muka.
Selain Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim, Keputusan tersebut juga disetujui oleh tiga menteri terkait, yaitu Kementerian Agama, Kementerian Dalam Negeri, dan Kementerian Kesehatan bersama Ketua Satgas Covid-19 dan Kementerian Koordinasi Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan.[]
