Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Rektor Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (UNISMUH), Ambo Asse mengatakan bahwa alumni UNISMUH yang berjumlah sekitar 3000 sarjana setiap tahun dicetak kampus agar mampu jadi pencipta kerja dengan mempekerjakan banyak orang dan jangan hanya jadi pencari kerja.

Hal itu disampaikannya saat membuka Webinar yang digelar Pusat Layanan Pengembangan Karir dan Informasi Kerja (PLPKIK) Unismuh Makassar pada Sabtu-Ahad, 26-27 Desember 2020 lalu.

“Menjadi pencipta kerja yang sukses maka dibutuhkan kejujuran, komitmen untuk selalu ingin berhasil dan sukses serta punya prinsip hidup Al-Islam,” ungkapnya.

Tambahnya pula, dia juga berpesan bagi alumni yang ingin sukses dalam bekerja maka ada tujuh hal yang perlu dilakukan. Ketujuh hal itu adalah fokus serius pada pekerjaaan, istiqamah, ikhlas, bersungguh sungguh, sabar, komunikasi dengan Tuhan, dan bersyukur.

Sementera itu, Ketua PLPKIK Unismuh Makassar, Muhammad Tahir dalam laporannya mengatakan bahwa pencari kerja setiap tahun cukup tinggi, sehingga perlu upaya meningkatkan keterampilan agar para alumni yang akan masuk pasar kerja memiliki pemahaman dan orientasi pada dunia kerja.

Webinar Orientasi Dunia Kerja, yang mengangkat tema “Excellent Career Preparation for Excellent Future” ini diharap untuk alumni UNISMUH untuk mendapat bekal pengetahuan dan orientasi dalam dunia kerja.
