Azis Terseret Perkara Suap Tanjungbalai, Rocky Gerung: Moral KPK Sudah Hancur

Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Kasus suap yang melibatan oknum penyidik KPK Stepanus Robin Pattuju (SRP) dinilai bentuk keruntuhan moral personel lembaga antirasuah. Menurut pengamat politik Rocky Gerung, penyidik KPK yang seharusnya menjadi benteng pengawal korupsi, malah memanfaatkan situasi untuk mendapatkan keuntungan pribadi.

“Jadi ini moral KPK memang sudah hancur,” kata Rocky Gerung dalam akun pribadinya di YouTube, Minggu (25/4).

Terkait disebut-sebutnya nama Wakil Ketua DPR RI Azis Syamsuddin dalam perkara suap Wali Kota Tanjungbalai, Sumatera Utara, Syahrial, masyarakat dinilai tidak bisa berharap banyak kepada KPK. Hal tersebut berkaca dari ‘menguapnya’ nama petinggi PDIP Herman Hery dan Ihsan Yunus dalam kasus suap bansos Kementerian Sosial.

“Apa KPK masih punya kemampuan untuk menegakkan kembali integritasnya? Masyarakat meragukan itu sekarang,” ucapnya.

Lanjut dia katakan, wakil ketua DPR adalah salah satu orang yang paling berkuasa, yang menentukan pembentukan UU KPK, juga fit and proper test calon komisioner KPK. Kalau ngomong praduga tak bersalah, itu urusan hakim. Namun masyarakat punyak hak untuk menduga bersalah karena terlibat di situ

“Kekuasaan saat ini tidak dipakai untuk menghasilkan keadilan bagi rakyat tetapi malah untuk membajak keadilan. Korupsi pada dasarnya mencuri hak rakyat untuk menikmati kesejahteraan, hak itu dicuri oleh pejabat negara, oleh mereka yang moralnya rusak karena surplus kekuasaan,” tambahnya.

Bahkan, ada barang bukti kasus yang digondol petugas KPK. Belum lagi soal Harun Masiku yang sampai sekarang masih tidak ketahuan kabar beritanya. Seperti diketahui oknum penyidik KPK Stepanus Robin Pattuju (SRP) diduga menerima suap sebesar Rp1,3 miliar dari Wali Kota Tanjungbalai Sumatera Utara, M Syahrial untuk mengamankan kasusnya. Azis Syamsuddin disebut-sebut yang memperkenalkan SRP kepada Syahrial.
