Makassar, karebaindonesia – UU Cipta Kerja membawa perubahan pada dunia pendidikan dan profesi arsitek di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, program-program studi Arsitektur mesti sigap beradaptasi. Hal ini diungkapkan oleh Dr. Irnawaty Idrus, ketua program studi Arsitektur Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, saat Diskusi Virtual “Adaptasi Pendidikan dan Profesi Arsitek Terhadap UU Cipta Kerja”. Sabtu, (27/3/2021).
Selain Irnawaty, hadir sebagai pembicara ialah Marwan Massinai, S.T., M.Sc. selaku pengurus nasional Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) dan Ir. Muaz Yahya (Principal Arsitek PT. Panrita Sembilan). Diskusi ini merupakan Diskusi Virtual ke-2 yang diadakan oleh Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar dan dihadiri oleh mahasiswa, akademisi, dan arsitek professional.
Acara berlangsung meriah dipandu oleh Khilda Wildana Nur, S.T., M.T selaku moderator.
“Di level internasional sebenarnya pendidikan Arsitektur dirancang dengan durasi 5 tahun. Jenjang pertama adalah Sarjana Arsitektur, dan jenjang kedua adalah Profesi Arsitek,” imbuh Dr.Irnawaty Idrus.
Sebagai program studi relatif baru, Arsitektur Unismuh mengusung visi ‘Menjadi Program Studi yang Unggul, Terpercaya, dan Mandiri di bidang Perancangan Arsitektur yang berwawasan Humanis, Berkelanjutan, dan Islami pada tahun 2028’. (rls)
