Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Pengelola Perpustakaan Rumah Baca Pesisir (RBP) yang menjadi utusan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Takalar meraih juara Lomba Pidato dan Bertutur pada Pekan Perpustakaan yang diselenggarakan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada Senin dan Selasa, 5-6 Oktober 2020 kemarin.
Tidak tanggung-tanggung, juara pada dua cabang lomba diperoleh kontingen kabupaten Takalar, yaitu Juara 2 Lomba Pidato dan Juara 2 Lomba Bertutur.
Dua perwakilan Takalar yang meraih juara tersebut berasal dari pengelola perpustakaan yang sama, yaitu Rumah Baca Pesisir (RBP).
Meskipun terbilang baru mengikuti lomba pidato dan lomba bertutur, kontingen kabupaten Takalar ini tidak gentar dan berusaha memberikan yang terbaik untuk Takalar.
Kepala Bidang Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Takalar, Zainuddin Detol, merasa sangat senang melihat prestasi yang diraih oleh kontingen Takalar.
“Saya sangat senang atas prestasi yang diraih kontingen Takalar karena telah mengangkat nama Takalar di tingkat Provinsi karena saya tidak menyangka mereka bisa meraih juara karena persiapan mereka hanya satu hari sebelum lomba,” ujarnya.
Tambahnya, ia berharap prestasi ini menjadi langkah awal untuk para penggiat Literasi di kabupaten Takalar untuk terus berprestasi dan tetap semangat dalam membumikan literasi di Butta Panrannungta.
Pemenang Juara 2 Lomba Pidato, Muhammad Yusran, mengungkapkan sangat bersyukur atas apa yang telah diraihnya.
“Saya sangat bersyukur karena bisa belajar banyak dalam lomba ini bersama seluruh perwakilan kabupaten. Ini hanyalah bonus dari Tuhan karena prestasi sebenarnya adalah ketika kita mampu bermanfaat untuk sesama,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, Pemenang Juara 2 Lomba Bertutur, Siti Rosminah, mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih dan tidak menyangka bisa meraih juara.
“Saya bersyukur kepada Allah atas apa yang diberikan dan awalnya saya tidak menyangka bisa meraih juara karena peserta lomba adalah orang-orang hebat,” ujarnya.[]
