Karebaindonesia.id – Seorang remaja Palestina dilaporkan tewas ditembak tentara Israel setelah bentrokan antara demostran Palestina dengan tentara Israel di Wilayah Tepi Barat pada Jumat, 4 Desember 2020 lalu.
Remaja yang bernama Ali Ayman Nasr Abu Aliya yang berusia 13 tahun itu tewas dengan luka tembak di perutnya. Selain itu, remaja itupun dipukul selama demonstrasi di desa Mughayir lalu diangkut ke rumah sakit di Ramallah hingga akhirnya meninggal dunia karena kondisinya yang kritis.
Kementerian Luar Negeri Palestina menuntut Israel di Pengadilan Kriminal Internasional atas penembakan tentara Israel kepada remaja Palestina.
Walau pihak tentara Israel membantah menggunakan peluru tajam dalam bentrokan tersebut. Meski demikian, pihaknya mengetahui laporan mengenai perusuh dari Palestina yang mengalami luka-luka.
Sebelumnya, pada Jumat lalu, warga Palestina di Tepi Barat melakukan aksi protes rutin setiap hari Jumat. Mereka menolak keras proyek pembangunan pemukiman di tanah-tanah milik Palestina yang saat ini diduduki pihak Israel.
Hukum Internasional menganggap Tepi Barat (termasuk Yerusalem Timur) adalah tanah milik Palestina yang dimana proyek pembangunan pemukiman tersebut sebagai langkah ilegal.[]
