Karebaindonesia.id, Jeneponto – H. Iksan Iskandar pimpin upacara peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional ke-114 dihalaman kantornya. Jumat. (20/05/2022)

Sekadar untuk diketahui bahwa Sejarah Hari Kebangkitan Nasional tak bisa lepas dari organisasi Budi Oetomo yang didirikan Dr Sutomo. Pada tanggal 20 Mei 1948, Presiden Pertama Indonesia, Sukarno menetapkan hari lahirnya perkumpulan Boedi Oetomo sebagai Hari Bangkitnya Nasionalisme Indonesia.

Pada masa itu, banyak ancaman perpecahan antargolongan dan ideologi di tengah perjuangan Indonesia mempertahankan kemerdekaan dari Belanda.

Semangat persatuan yang digagas oleh Boedi Oetomo menjadi spirit dalam menghimpun kekuatan dan mencegah perpecahan bangsa.

Boedi Oetomo adalah organisasi pertama di Indonesia yang bersifat nasional dan modern dalam sejarah pergerakan kemerdekaan. Organisasi ini didirikan oleh Dr. Sutomo beserta para mahasiswa STOVIA (School tot Opleiding van Indische Artsen) pada tahun 1908.

Boedi Oetomo lahir untuk mengejar ketertinggalan bangsa Indonesia dari bangsa-bangsa lain. Organisasi inilah yang menyatukan pergerakan di Indonesia dari yang bersifat kedaerahan menjadi nasional dengan tujuan akhir kemerdekaan.

Tujuan didirikannya Boedi Oetomo yang tercetus dalam kongres pertamanya ialah untuk menjamin kehidupan sebagai bangsa yang terhormat dengan fokus pergerakan di bidang pendidikan, pengajaran, dan kebudayaan.

Boedi Oetomo telah meletakkan tiga cita-cita bagi kebangkitan nasional yakni memerdekakan cita-cita kemanusiaan, memajukan nusa dan bangsa, serta mewujudkan kehidupan bangsa yang terhormat dan bermartabat di mata dunia.

Lahirnya Boedi Oetomo mempelopori organisasi pergerakan di masa selanjutnya seperti Indische Partij, Perhimpunan Indonesia, dan Muhammadiyah.

hari ini tepat 20 mei 2022 dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) kabupaten jeneponto berkesempatan menjadi pelaksana upacara pada momentum Hari Kebangkitan Nasional ke-144 tahun ini dengan mengusung tema *“ayo bangkit bersama”*

Tema ini dipilih agar Harkitnas dapat menjadi momentum bagi bangsa untuk bersama-sama mengobarkan semangat bangkit dari pandemi Covid-19 yang telah lebih dari 2 tahun menyerang.

selain itu tujuan peringatan 114 Tahun Kebangkitan Nasional Tahun 2022 dijelaskan bupati Iksan Iskandar saat membacakan pidato seragam adalah untuk terus memelihara, menumbuhkan dan menguatkan semangat gotong-rotong sebagai landasan dasar dalam melaksanakan pembangunan, serta mempercepat pulihnya bangsa dari pandemi Covid- 19

_“Pada masanya, Dr Sutomo beserta para pelajar STOVIA mendirikan perhimpunan Budi Utomo untuk mengejar ketertinggalan Indonesia dari bangsa-bangsa lain, hari ini Kita harus mendukung pemerintah Indonesia agar mampu beradaptasi dengan cepat dan melewati masa-masa krisis_”ujarnya
