Covid-19 Melonjak, Pemerintah Belum Tutup Penerbangan Internasional

Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Pemerintah menuai banyak kritikan karena belum juga menutup penerbangan internsional setelah kasus Covid-19 kembali naik. Pemerintah dinilai terlalu khawatir dengan dampak ekonomi.

“Dampak ekonomi terlalu jadi kekhawatiran dan melupakan dampak keselamatan manusia. Harusnya penerbangan internasional sudah ditutup,” ujar sosiolog Parman Pardi, Ahad (4/7/2021).

Menurut Parman, saat ini kondisi Pulau Jawa sudah pada tingkat paling buruk. Corona sedang berada di kurva tertinggi. Ia menyebut, dalam tiga pekan ke depan, kasus Corona akan mencapai puncaknya.

“Ini momentum paling kritis. Kalau dalam tiga pekan kita tidak mampu menekan laju kematian maka akan terjadi kondisi yang memuncak. Salah satu yang mestinya dilakukan adalah menutup interaksi luar negari,” jelasnya.

Alasannya kata Parman, sumber virus berasal dari luar negeri. Karena itu keliru jika dalam negeri diperketat tapi sumber virusnya justru masih diberi pelonggaran.

Sementara itu pemerintah hingga saat ini belum menutup penerbangan dari luar negeri. Wamenlu Mahendra Siregar dalam keterangan secara virtual kemarin mengaku belum ada regulasi soal penutupan gerbang transportasi udara.

“Sampai saat ini peraturan yang terkait dengan perjalanan internasional seperti juga saya sampaikan di muka tadi diselaraskan dengan peraturan yang berlaku untuk PPKM darurat,” kata Mahendra dalam konferensi pers virtual, Minggu (4/7/2021) dikutip detikcom.

Jadi, selama peraturan pada PPKM darurat tidak melarang penerbangan dari luar negeri, maka Kemenlu tidak akan menutupnya.

“Selama konteks PPKM darurat juga belum ada pembatasan ataupun larangan untuk mobilitas melalui udara maka sampai saat ini juga perjalanan internasional (bisa) dilakukan tapi dengan pembatasan yang sangat ketat,” tutur Mahendra.

Mantan anggota Ombudsman yang juga pengamat penerbangan Alvin Lie mempertanyakan kebijakan pemerintah yang tidak menutup gerbang internasional saat lonjakan Corona. Alvin Lie menyayangkan tidak adanya kebijakan penutupan gerbang internasional. Dia menyinggung soal penerbangan dari China hingga dari India.

“Bukan hanya penerbangan, tetapi gerbang penumpang internasional baik itu udara, laut, maupun darat, karena kan darat juga banyak. Kita sudah punya pengalaman ketika pertama kali tahun lalu COVID, itu kan (virus) dari China, kita juga tidak menutup penerbangan dari China,” jelas Alvin Lie.

“COVID ini semua adalah wabah impor yang dibawa manusia dari luar negeri,” terang Alvin.

Alvin mencontohkan kebijakan cepat Hong Kong yang langsung menutup penerbangan dari Inggris dan India untuk mengantisipasi adanya varian baru. Menurutnya, gerbang internasional harus ditutup juga selama PPKM darurat, yakni hingga 20 Juli nanti.

“Kenapa pemerintah Indonesia ini justru tidak menutup sumbernya dari luar negeri, tetapi yang diurus hanya domestiknya. Percuma saja pergerakan manusia dalam negeri dibatasi kalau sumbernya dari luar negeri tidak ditutup,” imbuhnya.
