Pembina Kelompok Tani Semangat Milenial Sidrap, Syaharuddin Alrif, melakukan kunjungan ke Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan untuk hadir sebagai pembicara dalam kegiatan sosialisasi budidaya dan KUR Tani Porang yang digelar di Rumah Jabatan Bupati Luwu, Belopa, pada Jumat (23/10/2020)

Belopa, karebaindobesia.id – Pembina Kelompok Tani Semangat Milenial Sidrap, Syaharuddin Alrif, melakukan kunjungan ke Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan untuk hadir sebagai pembicara dalam kegiatan sosialisasi budidaya dan KUR Tani Porang yang digelar di Rumah Jabatan Bupati Luwu, Belopa, pada Jumat, 23 Oktober 2020 siang tadi.

Pada kegiatan tersebut, selain Syaharuddin Alrif, juga dihadiri sejumlah tokoh, seperti Ketua KNPI Sulsel Arham Basmin, Kepala Bank BRI Luwu Triyono Priyono dan Bupati Luwu Basmin Mattayang.

Dalam kesempatannya, Syaharuddin Alrif memaparkan bagaimana keberhasilannya memanfaatkan tanaman porang sehingga menjadi Pilot Project komoditas ekspor ini di Sulsel.

“Saya terinspirasi bagaimana memanfaatkan lahan tidur dengan cara menanam komoditas ekspor dengan gampang dan tidak ribet,” ujarnya.

Menurutnya, lahan pertanian porang di Kabupaten Sidrap dikelola secara modern dan profesional, sehingga hanya dalam waktu delapan bulan, satu tanaman porang miliknya menghasilkan buah seberat tujuh kilo dan dipanen oleh Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Hal inilah yang mendorong tokoh yang kini menjabat sebagai Wakil Ketua DPRD Sulsel itu hadir untuk berbagi ilmu dengan warga Luwu tentang cara berbudidaya porang, agar manfaat ekonominya juga dapat dirasakan.

“Karena kami sudah berhasil, makanya mau pindahkan ilmu supaya kita di sini juga berhasil. Kita siapkan modal dan kita harap petani di sini bersemangat menjadi petani kaya,” pintanya

Selain itu, Syaharuddin Alrif juga menyebut Kementerian Pertanian telah menunjuk Bank BRI dalam penyaluran Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) yang dialokasikan ke Sulsel sebesar 3 Triliun Rupiah

Rencananya, dana tersebut akan dapat dimanfaatkan petani Luwu untuk bertani Porang. Adapun syarat dan ketentuannya, petani cukup menyediakan lahan minimal seluas satu hektar.

“Sebagai ancang-ancang 500 hektare untuk tahap pertama di Luwu. Kalau berhasil, 2 ribu hektare,” tutupnya.[]
