Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Calon Walikota Makassar, Syamsul Rizal (Deng Ical) memberikan motivasi kepada siswa-siswi SMA/SMP sederajat se-Sulawesi Selatan pada kegiatan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Sekolah (LDKS) yang diadakan oleh Forum Osis Sulsel.
Untuk informasi, Forum Osis Sulsel mengadakan LDKS di Meeting Room Redcorner pada Selasa, 1 Desember 2020 siang tadi.
Dalam motivasinya, Deng Ical mengatakan bahwa siswa-siswi milenial saat ini memiliki perspektif baru terhadap upayanya belajar.
“Saat ini, siswa-siswi sekarang sudah mempunyai perspektif baru karena terbukanya akses belajar melalui kemajuan teknologi,” katanya.
Lanjutnya, dia mengambil contoh penelitian dari penulis Amerika Serikat, Thomas J. Stanley tentang faktor penentu kesuksesan.
“Bersikap jujur kepada semua orang, mempunyai disiplin yang baik, pintar bergaul, dan hal-hal baik lainnya bisa dilakukan oleh kita semua, termasuk siswa-siswi yang saat ini belajar, baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah,” katanya.
Dia pun menegaskan bahwa semua orang mempunyai potensi untuk sukses sesuai dengan minat dan bakat masing-masing. Baginya, kesuksesan bukan sekadar hasil, tapi prosesnya untuk meraih hasil itu.
“Ambillah potensi untuk sukses dengan kreatif dan berusaha belajar sesuai minat dan bakat masing-masing. Insyaallah kita akan raih cita-cita,” jelasnya.
Selain Deng Ical, kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh sejumlah tokoh Sulsel, yaitu Rusdi Idrus (Ketua Pengurus Wilayah GP Ansor Sulsel), Ahmad Akbar (Ketua KAMMI Wilayah Sulsel), Ahmad Wahyu Saputra (Founder Forum Osis Sulsel), dan Rijal Djamal (Influencer/Content Creator).
