Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Yayasan SustainAqua Indonesia (YSAI) bekerjasama dengan Walton Family Foundation menyelenggarakan Workshop Nasional yang mengangkat tema, “Kerjasama Sinergis untuk Mempromosikan Budidaya Udang yang Harmonis dan Berkelanjutan di Kawasan Mangrove”. Workshop ini diselenggarakan di Makassar dan Pinrang pada 21 hingga 23 Oktober 2021.
Workshop Nasional ini dihadiri oleh 17 peserta yang merupakan perwakilan NGO dari berbagai provinsi di Indonesia. Acara ini dibuka di Fave Hotel Makassar oleh Rizki Dwinanto, selaku Ketua Yayasan SustainAqua Indonesia (YSAI).
Dalam sambutannya, Rizki menyampaikan bahwa Workshop ini mengangkat isu yang sensitif karena seringkali budidaya udang tidak mampu berjalan seiring dengan pengembangan kawasan mangrove, bahkan cenderung merusak ekosistem mangrove yg sudah ada.
Selain sesi presentasi dari seluruh peserta mengenai profil dan kontribusi yang telah dilakukan, Workshop Nasional ini juga menyajikan presentasi dari empat narasumber yakni Kepala Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Sulsel, Muh. Saenong (Akademisi/Dosen UMI), Harry Yuli (Praktisi/ PT Alter Trade Indonesia), dan Supito (Direktorat Jenderal Perikanan Budidaya Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau Kabupaten Takalar).
Setelah sesi presentasi dan tanya jawab dari keempat narasumber, peserta berangkat ke Kabupaten Pinrang untuk melakukan kunjungan lapangan. Kunjungan lapangan tersebut dilakukan di salah satu tambak udang windu yang telah mencoba untuk melakukan harmonisasi dengan kawasan mangrove yang terletak di Kampung Barakka, Desa Jampue, Kelurahan Larinsang, Kec. Larinsang dan Desa Kasiee, Kec. Suppa. Daerah tersebut merupakan lokasi kawasan pengembangan budidaya udang windu ramah lingkungan. Adapun NGO lokal yang turut membersamai kunjungan sekaligus telah melakukan pendampingan tambak udang windu di lokasi tersebut adalah Kontinu Indonesia yang bekerjasama dengan PT. Atina (Alter Trade Indonesia) salah satu pemilik label Ecoshrimp di Indonesia.
Agenda dalam sesi kunjungan lapangan terdiri atas mengamati proses panen udang windu, proses pembuatan pakan alami, kegiatan di tempat pembibitan dan penangkaran benih (nursery), serta Penanaman mangrove, lalu ditutup dengan Diskusi mengenai hasil-hasil pengamatan selama di lapangan. Selepas dari agenda tersebut, juga terdapat Kunjungan ke pabrik pengolahan udang PT. Atina.

Kami menyadari bahwa Atina bukan ekspertis namun karena kesadaran itu, kami mengundang beragam pihak untuk terlibat bersama dalam mengedukasi, mendukung, hingga memitigasi risiko yang berpotensi hadir.
