Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan, Edhy Prabowo meminta maaf kepada Presiden RI Joko Widodo dan Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra Prabowo Subianto.
Hal itu diucapkannya ketika Edhy Prabowo ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dalam kasus suap perizinan ekspor benih lobster oleh Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK).
“Pertama saya minta maaf kepada bapak presiden. Saya sudah mengkhianati kepercayaan beliau kepada saya,” ujarnya di Gedung KPK, Jakarta Selatan pada Kamis, 26 November 2020 dini hari tadi.
Selanjutnya, Edhy Prabowo juga meminta maaf kepada Prabowo Subianto atas ilmunya selama menjadi kader partai Gerindra.
“Minta maaf kepada pak Prabowo Subianto, guru saya, mentor yang mengajarkan banyak hal,” ujarnya lagi.
Selain itu, Edhy Prabowo juga meminta maaf kepada ibundanya serta memohon agar tetap sabar dan kuat. Politisi Partai Gerindra tersebut berjanji akan mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya.
“Ini adalah kecelakaan yang terjadi dan saya bertanggung jawab atas ini semua. Saya tidak lari dan saya akan beberkan apa yang saya lakukan,” ungkapnya.[]
