DOSEN PGSD UNM MELAKSANAKAN PROGRAM KEMITRAAN MASYARAKAT DI KOTA PAREPARE

Parepare, karebaindonesia.id — Sebagai salah satu wujud pelaksanaan Tridharma perguruan tinggi, dosen  UPP PGSD Parepare Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM)  melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang diberi nama Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) 2020. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 8 kelompok PKM yang telah dibuka secara resmi pada Hari Sabtu 20 Juni 2020 oleh ketua LP2M UNM  Bapak Prof. Dr. Bahrani Rauf dan dihadiri oleh Plt. Kepala Dinas Pend. Kota Parepare Bapak Drs. Arifuddin. Salah satu kelompok PKM menjadikan SD Negeri 35 Parepare sebagai mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan tersebut. Judul PKM yang dimaksud adalah PKM Pelatihan Pembelajaran Tematik-Integratif bagi Guru di SD Negeri 35 Parepare. Kelompok PKM ini diketuai oleh Drs. H. Abdul Hakim, M.Pd. dengan anggota Nur Ilmi, S.Pd., M.Pd. dan Dra. Hj. Yulia, M.Pd.

Kegiatan PKM tersebut, bukan hanya diikuti oleh guru SD Negeri 35 Parepare tetapi juga mahasiswa PGSD Kampus V Parepare UNM. Total peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 Orang dengan rincian 10 Orang Guru SD Negeri 35 Parepare dan 10 Orang Mahasiswa PGSD Kampus V parepare.

Menurut Nur Ilmi pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara daring (online) yakni dengan memanfaatkan Aplikasi ZOOM Meating, Googleclasroom dan Gogleform (Tanggal 30 Juni s.d 4 Juli 2020). Selain itu grup whatshaap juga digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif penyampaian informasi terkait kegiatan PKM Pelatihan ini. Selanjutnya, ia menambahkan bahwa latar belakang dari judul PKM ini yakni mengingat kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini adalah Kurikulum 2013 yakni kurikulum yang kaitannya sangat erat dengan pembelajaran tematik-integratif. Olehnya itu perlu adanya pelatihan pembelajaran tematik-integratif agar guru mampu memahami dengan baik pembelajaran tematik dan integratif ini. Selain itu, melalui pelatihan tematik-integratif yang dilaksanakan secara online juga membantu mitra dalam mengenal aplikasi/situs pembelajaran online yang efektif.
