Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Perhelatan Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Nasional (PIMNAS) kembali diadakan untuk ke-33 kalinya di Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) sebagai kampus terbanyak di luar pulau Jawa yang mengutus 27 tim pada ajang bergengsi tersebut berhasil membawa pulang 9 medali fantastis dan 1 penghargaan. (Ahad, 29/11/2020).

Tak tanggung-tanggung, kampus yang berciri khas almamater merah itu menjadi kampus terbaik se-Indonesia Timur dalam raihan medali. Unhas berhasil menyabet 4 medali emas, 4 perunggu, 1 perak, dan 1 penghargaan favorit.

Hal itu menjadi catatan termanis dalam sejarah Unhas mengikuti ajang PIMNAS. Tahun lalu di PIMNAS 32 yang digelar di Universitas Udayana, Bali. Unhas hanya berhasil meraup 1 medali perak dan 1 medali perunggu.

Berkat raihan ini, Unhas tak hanya menjadi kampus terbaik se-Indonesia Timur tetapi juga menjadi kampus terbaik ke-5 se-Nasional, hanya kalah oleh Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Brawijaya, Institut Pertanian Bogor, dan Institut Teknologi Surabaya.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Unhas, Prof. Dr. A Arsuna memberi apresiasi yang sangat tinggi kepada mahasiswa berprestasi di ajang tersebut serta tak lupa untuk semua kerjasama dari semua pihak.

“Hal ini tak terlepas dari dukungan dan arahan Ibu Rektor dan jajaran pimpinan lainnya.” Ungkap Prof. Dr. A Arsuna dilansir dari Makassar.tribunnews.com.

“Kami dari jajaran Bidang Kemahasiswaan mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada semua pihak yanh telah peduli untuk kemajuan dan kesuksesan adik-adik mahasiswa Unhas.” Tambahnya.
