Heboh! Polemik Penerima Dana Hibah POP Kemendikbud, Muhammadiyah dan NU Pilih Mundur

karebaindonesia.id,- Salah satu program unggulan Kemendikbud adalah Program Organisasi Penggerak (POP), program ini merupakan bagian dari program ‘Merdeka Belajar’ yang digagas Menteri Pendidikan dengan menggandeng organisasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Proses seleksi yang dibuka pada bulan Maret hingga pengumuman hasil seleksi telah ditetapkan pada 17 Juli 2020 dan untuk tahap kedua pada 31 Agustus 2020 mendatang.

Hasil seleksi telah diumumkan, 183 yang dinyatakan lolos dari 320 proposal yang masuk, namun sejumlah polemik muncul salah satunya adalah mundurnya organisasi besar sebagai penerima dana POP yaitu Muhammadiyah dan Nahdatul Ulama (NU).

Dana hibah yang dikucurkan pemerintah melalui Kemendikbud ini sekitar Rp. 595 miliar dengan membagi tiga kategori penerima yaitu kategori Gajah 20 miliar dengan target 100 sekolah, kategori Macan 5 miliar dengan target 21 sampai 100 sekolah dan kategori Kijang 1 miliar untuk 5 sampai 20 sekolah.

Muhammadiyah dan NU masuk kategori gajah namun menyatakan mundur dari program ini, seperti yang dilansir  kompas.tv (23/7/2020). Sejumlah pengamat mengemukakan perihal kemunduran ormas besar Islam ini salah satunya dari pengamat ekonomi, politik dan sosial budaya  Fachri Ali.

Melalui akun media sosial Fachri Ali mengemukakan bahwa mundurnya Muhammadiyah dan NU karena adanya keganjalan dalam proses seleksi diantaranya beberapa yayasan milik perusahaan besar juga turut mendapatkan dana hibah tersebut diantaranya Sampoerna Foundation dan Tanoto Foundation.  

Sejumlah kalangan meminta agar Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim membuka dialog dan komunikasi kepada Muhammadiyah dan NU.
