Karebaindonesia.id – Ilmuwan nuklir Iran, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh ditemukan meninggal di dekat kota Absard, Damavand, Timur Provinsi Teheran, Iran pada Jumat, 27 November 2020 waktu setempat.
Hal itu dikonfirmasi oleh Kementerian Pertahanan Iran tempat kerja ilmuwan itu. Mohsen Fakhrizabed meninggal setelah terluka parah akibat diserang pelaku dengan menembak mobilnya di dekat kota Absard. Terjadi baku tembak antara pelaku dengan pengawalnya.
Pemerintah Iran menuding pihak Israel adalah pihak yang bertanggung jawab atas pembunuhan ilmuwan itu. Presiden Iran, Hassan Rouhani memastikan bahwa Iran akan membalaskan dendam kematian Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
“Mereka (Israel) berpikir untuk menciptakan kekacauan tetapi mereka harus tahu bahwa kami telah membaca ‘tangan’ mereka dan mereka tidak akan berhasil. Bangsa kami lebih pintar sehingga tidak akan jatuh ke dalam perangkap yang dibuat oleh Zionis,” tegasnya.
Akibat dari pernyataan Presiden Iran itu, pihak Israel instruksikan seluruh kantor kedutaannya di seluruh dunia untuk siaga tingkat tinggi.
Menurut informasi, Perdana Menteri Israel, Benyaminn Netanyahu suda lama mencurigai Mohsen Fakhrizadeh sebagai dalang program rahasia senjata nuklir Iran sejak tahun 2018 lalu. Namun pihak Iran membantah hal tersebut.[]
