Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Pimpinan Komisariat (PIKOM) Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar menggelar kegiatan DORA (Donor Darah), pada Selasa (3/8/2021) di kampus Unismuh Makassar.
Aslan (Sekretaris Bidang Sosial dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat PIKOM IMM FEB Unismuh Makassar 2020-2021) menuturkan tujuan diadakannya kegiatan DORA. Kata dia, ini tidak lepas dari nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Tri kompetensi dan Trilogi Dasar IMM, yaitu nilai humanitas atau peran kemasyarakatan.
Sementara Andi Jamal A,Md. Kep menggambarkan indeks grafik pendonor selama masa pandemi, khususnya saat masa PPKM 2021 menurun drastis dibandingkan dengan masa normal sebelum pandemi.
“Jumlah kantong darah yang biasanya mencapai 80′ ke atas dalam satu kali menggalang donor darah, saat ini hingga 30 kantong darah saja susah untuk di peroleh”, ungkapnya.
Hal senada diuangkapkan Komandan KSR-PMI Unit 114 Unismuh Makassar (Al Ikhsan Suaib). Dia mengatakan bahwa, di masa pandemi ini sangat berdampak di UTD PMI, terlebih selama PPKM darurat, pendonor darah mengalami penurunan.
“Biasanya mampu melayani 30-50 kantong darah perhari bahkan lebih, kini hanya bisa sampai 20 kantong darah atau bahkan kurang sama sekali,” terangnya.
Selain kader PIKOM IMM FEB, beberapa birokrasi dan mahasiswa yang ada di kampus Unismuh Makassar turut terlibat aktif dalam melakukan aksi donor darah ini.
Amar Ma’ruf (Ketua Umum PIKOM IMM FEB Unismuh Makassar 2020-2021) pada kondisi yang menghawatirkan ini menuturkan bukan alasan bagi kita untuk memikirkan diri kita masing masing namun harus mampu dijadikan semangat kolektif untuk bangkit bersama dan Bersama menebar manfaat. aksi kemanusiaan semacam ini harus senantiasa di baca oleh setiap kader IMM, apatah lagi di tengah pandemi dan PPKM yang menyebabkan menurunnya stock darah yang ada di PMI atau rumah sakit.
“Setidaknya gerakan-gerakan kemanusiaan IMM tidak mengalami stagnansi gerakan sekalipun dalam kondisi yang begitu tidak ideal seperti ini. IMM harus senantiasa mampu mempertahankan eksistensi gerakannya dan terus melakukan gerakan-gerakan yang berdampak di kalangan Masyarakat,” ungkap Amar.
Kegiatan DORA ini berlangsung dengan baik mulai pukul 08:00 sampai pukul 12:00 WITA, dan membuahkan sebanyak 18 kantong darah yang terkumpul.
