Kutai Kartanegara, karebaindonesia.id – Sungguh mulia pergorbanan sosok Nenek Sumiati (71 tahun) di Hari Raya Iduladha kali ini. Di tengah keterbatasan ekonominya, Nenek Sumiati yang tinggal di Kecamatan Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur ini menyumbangkan hewan kurban berupa seekor sapi dan seekor kambing yang berasal dari tabungan yang dikumpulkannya selama 15 tahun.

Nenek Sumiati yang berprofesi sebagai penyapu jalanan ini menyisihkan sebagian upah kerjanya untuk dibelikan emas sebagai tabungan. Selain sebagai penyapu jalanan, tak jarang Nenek Sumiati bekerja sampingan sebagai tukang cuci pakaian untuk menambah penghasilan.

Nenek Sumiati juga berjualan makanan ringan di warung seluas 3×3 meter yang juga menjadi tempat tinggalnya di kawasan Pasar Seni Tenggarong untuk menambah penghasilan. Menurut Nenek Sumiati, alasannya tinggal di warung tersebut untuk mempermudah dirinya pergi ke lokasi bekerja yang jaraknya hanya sekitar puluhan meter dari warung, karena rumah milik Nenek Sumiati berjarak 5 kilometer dari lokasi bekerjanya.

Nenek Sumiati menyerahkan hewan kurbannya ke Langgar Annur pada Kamis, 30 Juli 2020 yang didampingi oleh anaknya dan disaksikan oleh Kapolres Kutai Kartanegara, AKBP Andrias Susanto Nugroho. Penyerahan hewan kurban tersebut diterima langsung oleh Ketua Pengurus Langgar Annur, Ahmad Sopian Hamid.

Heru Madianto selaku anak kedua dari Nenek Sumiati yang mendampingi ibunya mengaku terkejut saat sang ibu mengungkapkan ingin berkurban. Heru terharu atas perjuangan dan pengorbanan besar sang ibu menabung selama 15 tahun untuk membeli hewan kurban untuk disembelih dan dibagikan kepada yang membutuhkan.

“Ibu saya maunya yang besar sehingga dibelilah kambing yang besar. Kalau kambing, kakak saya yang mengantar, kalau sapi saya yang mengantar ibu,” jelasnya dalam wawancara yang dilansir dari Selasar.co pada Kamis, 30 Juli 2020 lalu.[]
