Terintegrasi dengan Ma’had Al birr Unismuh Makassar, Dekan FAI: Titik Tolak Babak Baru Kebangkitan PBA

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Angin segar didapatkan oleh Program Studi (Prodi) Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Unismuh Makassar. Rektor Unismuh mengeluarkan Surat Keputusan (SK) pada 4 Februari 2021 tentang integrasi sistem dan biaya perkuliahan mahasiswa Unismuh dan Ma’had Al birr .

Menurut Dekan FAI Unismuh Makassar, ini menjadi titik tolak babak baru kebangkitan di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dalam hal jumlah kuantitas jumlah mahasiswa baru.

“Kami menyambut dengan gembira dan memberi apresiasi atas kerjasama dan kerja cerdas berbagai pihak, khususnya pihak Pimpinan Universitas yang telah memberikan izin keluarnya SK ini,” ujar Dekan FAI tersebut.

Lanjut dia katakan, tentu kami Dekan, bekerja sama dengam Wadek terkait. Terkhusus terima kasih kepada Pimpinan Ma’had Al birr dan jajarannya atas hasil yang begitu spektakuler dari terintegrasinya Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dan Ma’had A birr.

“Maksud dan tujuan integrasi ini, di titik awal yah. Dari bertambahnya jumlah mahasiswa ini, yang pertama, Al birr memang salah satu model Pendidikan alternatif yang menyiapkan kader ulama melalui program studi bahasa Arab dan studi Islam. Ketika ditetapkan sebagai pusat kaderisasi ulama oleh pimpinan pusat Muhammadiyah Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel) dan Rektor Unismuh Makassar maka kehadiran Ma’had diharapkan untuk mengisi kekurangan kader, khususnya kader ulama,” tutupnya.
