Pangkep, karebaindonesia.id – Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kelautan (STITEK) Balik Diwa Makassar melakukan Desiminasi teknologi yang dilaksanakan Tim Dosen STITEK Balik Diwa yang terdiri dari Muhammad Ikramullah, Nursyahran, Frida Alifia, dan Heriansah ini dilakukan bersama mitra pembudidaya tambak ikan dan udang di Kabupaten Pangkep, Sulawesi Selatan dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dan alumni.
Program ini tercapai berkat keberhasilan STITEK Balik Diwa dalam memenangkan Seleksi Program Produk Teknologi yang didesiminasikan ke masyarakat tahun 2020 yang diselenggarakan oleh Deputi Bidang Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi (Kemenristek) Republik Indonesia.
Tim pelaksana bersama Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (Pusat-P2M) STITEK Balik Diwa telah melakukan sosialisasi dan koordinasi dengan mitra dalam rangka persiapan pelaksanaan desiminasi sekaligus mengecek kondisi terkini tambak mitra yang akan dijadikan percontohan.
Kepala Pusat P2M STITEK Balik Diwa, Rahmat Januar Noor mengatakan bahwa paket teknologi yang akan didesiminasikan oleh tim pelaksana sangat strategis dalam rangka penguatan ketahanan pangan masyarakat di masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini.
“STITEK Balik Diwa akan terus melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian untuk mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam membantu masyarakat di masa dan pasca pandemi Covid-19,” ujarnya saat diwawancarai pada Ahad, 25 Oktober 2020 siang tadi.
Sementara itu, salah satu Tim Dosen STITEK Balik Diwa, Muhammad Ikramullah mengatakan bahwa program yang didanai oleh Kemenristek ini akan mendesiminasikan teknologi seperti pembuatan pakan, probiotik, co-kultur, dan pemasaran secara daring melalui kegiatan yang berbasis kewirausahaan.
Selain itu, Tim Pelaksana juga menyampaikan bahwa program diseminasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam berwirausaha dengan menerapkan paket teknologi secara terintegrasi mulai produksi sampai dengan pemasaran.
“Meskipun masih dalam masa pandemi Covid-19, Tim Pelaksana akan terus menjalankan program desiminasi ini sesuai dengan target waktu dan capaian yang telah ditetapkan dengan tetap memaksimalkan manfaat dari program serta meminimalkan kemungkinan risiko dan mitigasi risiko yang mungkin timbul akibat pandemi,” ujarnya.
Tambahnya, program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tambak, menciptakan mata pencaharian alternatif, dan meningkatkan pendapatan mitra pada khususnya dan para pembudidaya pada umumnya.[]
