Jokowi Nyatakan Indonesia Bersama Palestina dan Desak PBB Ambil Tindakan Atas Pelanggaran Berulang Israel

Presiden Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) Menyatakan Sikap Atas Insiden di Palestina

Karebaindonesia.id-Usai terjadinya bentrokan berdarah antara polisi israel dan warga Palestina di yang ada di Masjid Al-Aqsa, Yerusalem, pada Jumat (7/5) malam waktu setempat, pecah. Bentrokan yang membuat ratusan orang terluka ini terjadi seusai buka puasa.

Insiden tersebut kini menjadi perhatian dunia terkhusus Indonesia yang mayoritas dihuni oleh penduduk muslim

Oleh karena itu Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyatakan mengecam aksi polisi israel terhadap warga palestina di masjid Al-Aqsa, Yerusalem

Jokowi menilai aksi kekerasan dan penggusuran terhadap warga Palestina tersebut tak boleh diabaikan.Pernyataan itu disampaikan Jokowi melalui akun Twitter-nya, Senin (10/5/2021). Jokowi menuliskan pernyataannya dalam bahasa Inggris.

“pengusiran paksa warga palestina dari sheikh jarrah, yerusalem timur, dan penggunaan kekerasan terhadap warga sipil palestina di masjid al-aqsa tidak boleh diabaikan,” kata jokowi yang diterjemahkan dari bahasa inggris.

Jokowi juga mengatakan bahwa Indonesia mendesak Dewan Keamanan PBB mengambil tindakan tegas atas aksi kekerasan Israel tersebut. Dia memastikan Indonesia akan terus berpihak pada rakyat Palestina.

“Indonesia mengutuk tindakan tersebut dan mendesak Dewan Keamanan PBB untuk mengambil tindakan atas pelanggaran berulang yang dilakukan oleh Israel. Indonesia akan terus berpihak pada rakyat Palestina,” tuturnya.
