Makassar, karebaondonesia.id – Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) Wilayah Sulawesi Selatan mengajak kepada seluruh pasangan calon yang berkompetisi untuk menyebarkan pesan damai selama kontestasi Pilkada Serentak se-Sulsel yang akan dilaksanakan 9 Desember 2020 mendatang.
Atas dasar itulah, KAMMI Sulsel mengadakan sebuah pertemuan yang digelar di Warkop Bundu Hertasning Makassar, pada Sabtu, 14 November 2020 siang tadi. Pertemuan tersebut dilaksanakan dalam rangka merespon pentingnya keamanan dalam pilkada serentak se-Sulsel.
Ketua KAMMI Sulsel, Ahmad Akbar mengingatkan seluruh pasangan calon untuk tetap menjaga nilai kearifan lokas Sulsel yaitu Sipakatau, Sipakainge dan Sipakalebbi. Menurutnya, kondisi tensi politik hari ini makin memanas, apalagi di daerah zona merah terkhusus di Kota Makassar.
“Sekiranya paslon mengintruksikan kepada para pendukungnya untuk sama-sama menahan diri agar tidak terjadi gesekan antar pendukung. Saya sebagai masyarakat Sulsel, memastikan rasa persaudaraan yang kita utamakan, bukan saling menjelekkan antar para pendukung paslon,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Koordinator Kebijakan Publik KAMMI Sulsel, Arham Pandrang mengungkapkan bahwa kebijakan publik KAMMI Sulsel senantiasa mendorong hajatan pilkada damai yang mengedepankan nilai kearifan lokal dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan untuk meminimalisir penyebaran Covid-19 di Sulsel, khususnya di kota Makassar.
Pertemuan ini ditutup dengan pernyataan sikap Pimpinan Wilayah KAMMI Sulsel dengan membeberkan tiga poin pernyataan yaitu;
1. Mengajak seluruh pihak untuk mendorong pilkada yang damai dengan mengedepankan nilai kearifan lokal, yaitu sipakalebbi, sipakainge, dan sippakatau.
2. Menghimbau kepada semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses pilkada, khususnya di Sulsel dan kota Makassar untuk senantiasa mengedepankan politik yang santun demi menjaga ketertiban dan keamanan dalam menghadapi Pilkada Serentak 9 Desember 2020 mendatang.
3. Mengajak kepada seluruh pihak utamanya masyarakat dalam menyukseskan pilkada yang damai agar senantiasa menerapkan protokol kesehatan untuk meminimalisir penyebaran Covid-19 di kota Makassar dan Sulsel secara umum.[]
