Karebaindonesia.id — Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Republik Indonesia, Arief Budiman mengaku positif terinfeksi Covid-19. setelah menjalani tes swab pada Kamis, 17 September 2020.
Tes swab dilakukan sebagai syarat untuk menghadiri rapat di Istana Bogor pada hari ini Jumat (18/09/2020). Oleh karena itu, saat ini ia sedang menjalani karantina mandiri di kediamannya.
Hal itu disampaikan langsung Arief Budiman keterangan tertulisnya kepada awak media, Jumat, (18/09/2020).
“Diberitahukan kepada teman-teman media bahwa saat ini saya sedang menjalani karantina mandiri di rumah,” kata Arief kepada wartawan lewat pesan singkat, Jumat (18/9)
“Tanggal 18 dini hari sudah mulai melakukan karantina mandiri karena tidak terdapat gejala, batuk, panas, pilek ataupun sesak nafas,” sambungnya.
Kendati demikian, kantor KPU dalam tahap sterilisasi serta tidak ada pegawai KPU yang bekerja di kantor dan menerapkan kebijakan work from home (WFH).
“Saya tetap menjalankan tugas dengan cara WFH, daring,” ujar Arief Budiman.
“Demikian beberapa hal yang dapat kami sampaikan, mohon doa dari semua pihak agar bisa diberikan kesehatan bagi kita semua. Semoga kesehatan dan keselamatan selalu tercurahkan untuk bangsa Indonesia,” pungkasnya.
