Kuliah Lapangan, Ini yang Dilakukan Mahasiswa Promkes FKM UMI 2019

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Mahasiswa Promosi Kesehatan (Promkes) Fakutas Kesehatan Masyarakat (FKM) Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) angkatan 2019 melakukan kegiatan Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE) kesehatan kepada masyarakat di Perumahan Lagosi Village, Kabupaten Maros pada hari Sabtu, 27 November 2021.

Dilakukan oleh 4 orang mahasiswa Promkes yaitu Rahmawati, Putri Mega Maharani, Juwita Awaliah Jusriadi dan Nurmisbahullah.

Kegiatan KIE tersebut dilakukan sebagai bentuk praktik dari teori-teori yang telah didapatkan dalam perkuliahan. Selain itu, sebagai pengembangan skill terhadap mahasiswa.

Mengangkat tema “Penuhi Asupan Gizi” dilakukannya pemaparan materi, penempelan poster di tempat strategis, hingga pembagian susu kepada anak-anak sebagai penunjang untuk gizinya.

Dengan dilakukannya kegiatan KIE kesehatan tersebut sebagai upaya untuk mengingatkan bahwa tubuh membutuhkan asupan gizi yang lebih baik dari makanan yang dikonsumsi.

“Asupan gizi penting untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tubuh,” ucap Rahmawati.

“Status gizi yang baik dapat dicapai apabila tubuh mengonsumsi makanan dengan kandungan energi dan zat gizi sesuai kebutuhan dan dengan mengonsumsi makanan yang bergizi dapat mengcegah terjadinya kurang gizi pada tubuh,” tuturnya.
