Gowa, karebaindonesia.id – Kegiatan Service learning ini merupakan salah satu bentuk penerapan teori-teori dari matakuliah yang sudah didapatkan selama proses perkuliahan. Pelaksanaan Service learning kali dilakukan dengan tema : Pengaturan falitas sekolah dan tempat duduk di kelas . Harapan pelaksanaan SL adalah mahasiswa dapat memberikan manfaat ke sekolah sekaligus menerima manfaat dengan merasakan pengalaman secara langsung di sekolah.

Kegiatan service learning ini merupakan salah satu penilaian akhir dari mata kuliah manajemen kelas yang diampu oleh Ibu Mardhiah, S.Ag., M.Pd. Materi pokok pada mata kuliah manajemen kelas adalah pengaturan kelas, fasilitas kelas, lingkungan kelas dan pengaturan tempat duduk kelas. Melalui materi pokok yang diajarkan maka mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikan materi kuliah melalui kegiatan service learning ini.

Kelompok mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 4 anggota yang berasal dari angkatan 2018, diantaranya: (Ariska Bimasari, Chairil Amril Syam, Rosmida dan Mustagfir Muallim), ini memilih melaksanakan Kegiatan service learning di SMAN 19 Gowa, salah satu sekolah yang terletak di jl Poros Galesong di Desa Gentungang Kec. Bajeng Barat Kab. Gowa. Sekolah ini berdiri sejak 2011 dan telah berakreditasi B, kepala sekolah yang sekarang memimpin sekolah yang memiliki jumlah siswa sebanyak 744 siswa adalah H. Tajuddin Limpo, S.Pd,. M.Si.

Kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa MPI pada SMAN 19 Gowa yaitu mengadakan selebaran di beberapa sudut sekolah SMAN 19 Gowa, selebaran tersebut berupa cara mencuci tangan yang benar dan himbauan 3M. Mahasiswa memilih kegiatan tersebut karena melihat keadaan sekolah khususnya kelas di SMAN 19 sudah lengkap dari segi fasilitas dan lingkungan kelas sehingga mahasiswa MPI memilih mengadakan selebaran terkait Covid -19 mengingat sekolah sedang mempersiapkan persiapan pembelajaran tatap muka. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya wastafel di beberapa sudut sekolah sehingga mahasiswa membantu pengadaan selebaran tiap wastafel terkait cara cuci tangan yang benar dan juga himbauan 3M dibeberapa sudut sekolah, seperti depan kelas, parkiran, ruang guru, perpustakaan, dan papan informasi sekolah. Selebaran yang disebar sebanyak 20 titik melihat sekolah cukup luas.

Kegiatan ini dapat apresiasi yang positif dari pihak sekolah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari komentar dan sabutan baik dari kepala sekolah SMAN 19 Gowa. “saya sangat bersyukur dan berterima kasih atas kedatangan mahasiswa di sekolah kami, terima kasih telah membantu sekolah dalam menghadapi pembelajaran tatap muka, semoga anak-anak mahasiswa tidak bosan datang ke sekolah kami, untuk ke depannya kami siap membantu mahasiswa jika masih ada kebutuhan di sekolah kami,” ujar Tajuddin,S.Pd,.M.Si. selaku kepala sekolah di SMAN 19 Gowa.

Melihat komentar tersebut mahasiswa MPI yang melaksanakan kegiatan service learning ini merasa sangat bersyukur atas sambutan dan apresiasi yang diberikan pihak sekolah terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan.
