Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Forum Lingkar Pena (FLP) Cabang Makassar mengadakan diskusi daring rutin via Zoom, yaitu Bincang Literasi Kritis (BILIK) yang ke-4 dengan tema “Romantika Taman Baca” pada Minggu, 11 Oktober 2020 kemarin.

Dalam diskusi tersebut dihadirkan tiga pemateri dengan latar belakang yang berbeda namun menjadi pemberdaya literasi kepada masyarakat melalui Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) yang ditemani oleh moderator yaitu Ridwan Jasmawi (Ketua FLP Ranting Universitas Muslim Indonesia)

Pemateri pertama yaitu Andhika Mappasomba (Pekerja Seni dan Founder Rumah Forum Literasi Sulsel), disusul dengan pemateri kedua yaitu Yusmira Yunus (Pengelola Rumah Cahaya FLP Sulsel), dan ditutup dengan pemateri ketiga yaitu Suhring (Founder TBM Pamanang Maca, Pulau Messah).

Ketiga pemateri tersebut memaparkan suka duka dalam mengembangkan taman baca agar menyentuh masyarakat luas sebagai upaya peningkatan literasi yang bernilai inklusi sosial dalam segala bidang keseharian masyarakat.

Ketua FLP Makassar, Tetta Sally mengatakan bahwa kegiatan Bincang Literasi Kritis kali ini mengangkat sebuah tema dasar dalam memberdayakan literasi secara menyeluruh dikala keadaan Indonesia kini yang harus menggerakkan pencerdasan bangsa dan negara.

“Kami rasa taman baca hari ini memiliki tantangan yang berat. Pandemi Covid-19, interaksi masyarakat dengan pemerintah terkait UU Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja, dan isu-isu sosial kemasyarakatan yang bertebaran saat ini adalah beberapa di antaranya. Jadi, kami mengangkat tema ini adalah upaya kepedulian kami kepada TBM agar terbangun dan bergerak aktif untuk menyebarkan kebaikan dalam segala situasi dan kondisi apapun,” ujarnya.[]
