Mahasiswa Papua di Makassar Buka Usaha Gerobak Dengan Program UMKM

Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id – Menjadi mahasiswa perantau di kota lain tentu memiliki suka-duka. Begitulah yang dialami mahasiswa Papua, terlebih yang tinggal di asrama di kota makassar, mereka jauh dari orang tua dan keluarga terdekat.

Untuk bertahan hidup dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitar, mereka dituntut kreatif dan mandiri. Tak hanya berjuang agar sukses di bangku kuliah, tapi juga menyambung hidup sehari-hari bagi mereka yang kekurangan biaya.

Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan mahasiswa dengan kondisi seperti ini adalah membuka Kios Kecil dan berjualan kopi susu hingga makanan ringan.

Fredy salah satu mahasiswa papua di makassar membuka kios dari nol dengan modal seadanya bahkan bantuan dari rekanya dalam program UMKM, dengan tekad yang kuat dan tekun mereka terus mengelola usaha mereka di sela waktu kuliah. Tidak selalu dilakukan satu orang, tetapi usaha terkadang juga dilakukan bersama.

Salah satu usaha kios yang dibuka dilakukan bersama mahasiswa Asrama Merauke yang berdomisili di jalan lanraki makassar.

Penghuni asrama bersama-sama membuka usaha gerobak yang diisi dengan dagangan kopi susu dan jenis makanan lainya.

Fredy numberi yang juga ketua kordinator wilayah yang membuka usaha kios tersebut, mengatakan usahanya berjalan baik dan kios tersebut dijadikan sebagai aset dan oprasional asrama papua barat.

“Gerobak yang dilengkapi tenda tersebut berjalan bulan juni 2021 ,usaha terakadang ramai kadang juga sepi tapi itulah bagian dari ujian yang harus dilewati ” Ungkapnya.

Ia mengatakan dengan kehadiran usaha gerobak tersebut yang berlokasi di depan indomaret di jalan lanraki makassar, diharapkan dapat membantu biaya sehari hari dengan keuntungan yang didapatkan.
