Maldini Dicap ‘Penjilat’ Setelah Bela Jokowi yang Salah Menyebut Padang Sebagai Provinsi

Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Politisi Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) Faldo Maldini dicibir warganet karena membela Presiden Joko Widodo yang jelas salah menyebut Padang sebagai Provinsi. Karena sejatinya yang akurat adalah Kota Padang yang merupakan ibukota Provinsi Sumatera Barat (Sumbar).

Jokowi keseleo lidah saat memberi sambutan dalam kunjungan kerjanya meninjau pembangunan Tol Trans Sumatera, ruas Pekanbaru-Bangkinang, yang disiarkan langsung di kanal YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, Rabu (19/5/2021).

Dalam pemaparannya, Jokowi menyinggung keberadaan jalan Tol Trans Sumatera tersebut bisa menggerakkan perekonomian khususnya bagi warga sekitar. Sebab, produk-produk masyarakat bisa berpeluang bersaing dengan produk luar negeri.

“Dan produk-produk yang ada baik di Provinsi Riau dan di Provinsi Padang nantinya akan memiliki daya saing yang baik terutama dalam rangka bersaing dengan produk-produk dari negara lain,” kata Jokowi.

Lewat cuitannya di Twitter, Faldo hadir membela Jokowi dari kehebohan masyarakat yang mentertawakan salah sebut orang nomor satu Indonesia tersebut.

Dilansir oleh karebaindonesia.id dari fajar.co.id Faldo memaklumi keseleo lidah Jokowi. Ia menyebut, sebagai orang luar Sumbar, Jokowi tentu lebih terbiasa menyebut ‘Padang’ dibanding Sumbar.

Yang jelas, kata Faldo, kebijakan pembangunan ini tidak hanya untuk warga Kota Padang, tapi untuk seluruh Sumbar. Tampil membela Jokowi, Faldo lantas ‘dihakimi’ warga Twitter. Bahkan tak sedikit yang menyebut Faldo sebagai penjilat demi mendapat jabatan.

“Selalu ada penjilat yg berusaha untuk mencarikan pembenaran. Ngapain sih? Ngga ngejilat, ngga makan?” sebut @awema***.

“Padahal kalo salah ya salah aja, coba klo ujian ada pertanyaan diorovinsi manakah letak kota bukit tinggi?dijawab provinsi Padang, ya pasti disalahin sama gurunya, klo pernyataan presiden ini salah ya tinggal luruskan bkn mencari pembenaran jd nya kesalahan tetap ada,” kata @IndraSha***.

“Tentu, presiden itu harus cermat dan akurat. Ia mencerminkan standar tertinggi,” timpal @mkusumawija***.

“Wajar anda bela,walau itu salah. Partai anda dukung Jokowi. Saya tdk bsa bayangkan jika itu pak Anies yg buat kesalahan. Pasti rombongan bro sdh nyinyir saling sahut. dunia memang penuh kepalsuan dan ketidak adilan,” gumam @burhanar***.
