Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus mengungkapkan dua warga negara India yang tidak menjalani proses karantina setelah tiba di Indonesia.
Kabarnya, kedua WN India itu disebut juga memanfaatkan jasa ‘mafia’ karantina untuk bisa lolos dari prosedur tersebut.
“Ada dua lagi warga negara India yang sudah lolos juga,” kata Yusri kepada wartawan, Rabu (28/4).
Meski begitu, Yusri belum mengungkap detail perkara termasuk inisial kedua WN India tersebut. Dia hanya mengatakan, kedua pendatang dari India itub menggunakan modus yang mirip dengan yang dipakai oleh WNI berinisial JD.
Dilansir oleh karebaindonesia.id dari cnnindonesia.com, sebelumnya polisi menangkap WNI yang baru datang dari India, JD. Dia berhasil lolos dari prosedur karantina pencegahan Covid-19 selama 14 hari lewat bantuan S dan RW dengan biaya sebesar Rp6,5 juta.
“Dua orang [WN India] ini modus dengan hampir sama tapi dengan orang yang berbeda. Makanya masih kami dalami,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, pihak kepolisian tengah menyelidiki kasus lolosnya WNI berinisial JD dari proses karantina sepulang dari India. Tak hanya JD, dalam perkara ini, polisi juga telah menangkap S dan RW yang diduga berperan dalam proses lolosnya WNI tersebut.
Sampai saat ini, polisi masih melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap ketiganya. Nantinya, penyidik juga bakal melakukan gelar perkara untuk menentukan status hukum ketiga orang tersebut.
“Ini kita kenakan di sini UU Karantina Kesehatan dan Wabah Penyakit yang ancaman di bawah 5 tahun proses tetap berjalan,” tutup Yusri.
