Membumikan Budaya Baca di Pekan Perpustakaan

Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id—Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan melaksanakan Pekan Perpustakaan dengan tema : Melalui Hari Kunjung Perpustakaan, Bersama Kita Menyemarakkan Pembudayaan Kegemaran Membaca di Era Pandemi Covid 19. Kegiatan tersebut  dilaksanakan selama dua hari, yakni pada 5-6 Oktober 2020. Pelaksanaan pagelaran tersebut tentunya mengikuti Protokol Kesehatan Covid-19, yakni pengunjung diwajibkan menggunakan masker, menjaga jarak, dan mencuci tangan.

Pekan Perpustakaan ini juga dirangkaikan dengan Lomba Bertutur, Lomba Berpidato, dan Pameran Perpustakaan.  Salah seorang pustakawan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan, Zahir Juana R. Menuturkan bahwa kegiatan Pekan Perpustakaan adalah agenda tahunan yang diadakan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan.

“Ini agenda tahunan yang sering dilaksanakan dinas, tahun lalu itu sangat ramai. Tapi karena suasana pandemi, makanya peserta kami batasi dan setiap pengunjung wajib menataati protokol kesehatan.”

Lebih lanjut, Pekan Perpustakaan ini juga dihadiri Dinas Perpustakaan dari berbagai kabupaten/kota seperti Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten, Gowa, Takalar, Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Makassar, Parepare, hingga Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bulukumba.

Harapannya melalui kegiatan ini akan menumbuhkan minat baca masyarakat di tengah Pandemi Covid-19
