Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id — Pasangan bakal calon Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Makassar, Irman Yasin Limpo dan Andi Zunnun Nurdin Halid (None-Zunnun) menggelar Deklarasi dalam rangka memantapkan diri untuk maju bertarung di Pilwali Makassar 2020.
Deklarasi tersebut berlangsung di Celebes Convention Center (CCC), Jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga Makassar, Rabu (02/09/2020).
Deklarasi yang dikemas dalam bentuk IMUN Expo ini dirangcang khusus untuk memperlihatkan hasil inovasi karya anak bangsa, pameran produk UMKM serta podcast religi.
Bakal calon Wali Kota Makassar, Irman Yasin Limpo dalam orasi politik mengatakan bahwa deklarasi ini bukan hanya sekedar deklarasi politik semata. Namun, deklarasi ini untuk memaparkan solusi serta inovasi yang akan memecahkan masalah yang ada di Kota Makassar.
“Deklarasi IMUN hari ini bukan deklarasi politik. Deklarasi IMUN hari ini adalah deklarasi menyatakan saya akan menggunakan inovasi dan akan menciptakan inovasi pelayanan bagi masyarakat Kota Makassar,” ujar None.
Lanjut None, pempimin yang baik adalah yang mengetahui kebutuhan masyarakat terjauhnya, kalau dia mampu mengakses masyarakat terjauhnya, maka pemimpin tersebut bisa mudah mengaskses masyarakat terdekatnya.
None menegaskan bahwa dirinya ingin menjadi pemimpin yang merakyat dan selalu melayani rakyat.
“Kalau tidak bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraannya, jangan tambah beban rakyatmu. Saya janjikan, setelah deklarasi ini, saya akan mendatangi warga,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Ketua Umum partai Golkar, Nurdin Halid mengatakan dalam sambutannya bahwa sudah waktunya Kota Makassar dipimpin oleh putra asli daerah.
“Sekarang ini Makassar butuh pemimpin yang tau betul seluk beluk, budaya, dan sejarahnya. Olehnya, sudah waktunya orang Bugis-Makassar memimpin kota ini,” ujar Nurdin Halid.
Pasangan pemilik tag line IMUN ini telah resmi diusung oleh 4 partai yaitu PAN, Golkar, PKS dan Berkarya.
