Kedua Institusi yang dimaksud yakni Badan Amil Zakat nasional (Baznas) dan Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin (UIN)
pimpinan dari keduanya hadir dan disambut langsung bupati Iksan Iskandar dengan didampingi sekda H. M. Arifin Nur
Baznas dihadiri langsung oleh ketua Maulana Askari, sedangkan UIN Alauddin diwakili oleh Wakil Rektor IV. Prof. H. Kamaluddin Abunawas
dihadapan puluhan pimpinan OPD, dan camat bupati Iksan Iskandar menandatangani perjanjian kerjasama dengan Baznas dan UIN Alauddin
Program yang dikerjasamakan oleh keduanya masing-masing yakni tentang pengelolaan Zakat dan pendidikan
bupati Iksan Iskandar dalam sambutan menyampaikan apresiasi dan penghargaan kepada kedua lembaga yang bergerak dibidang pendidikan dan pengeloaan zakat itu
Ia menjelaskan kabupaten jeneponto sebagai sebuah daerah memiliki permasalahan yang kompleks dan membutuhkan kolaborasi pikiran dengan banyak pihak
