Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id — Kepala Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Makassar, Mario Said mengungkapkan rencana modifikasi truk sampah menjadi bus pariwisata gratis untuk masyarakat akan segera direalisasikan.

“Kalau rencananya Pimpinan dia menginginkan truk sampah itu kapasitas bisa lebih banyak dibandingkan yang sekarang, maka sistemnya dia press. Sebenarnya sudah ada pengenalannya, sudah ada di perlengkapan, mungkin itu yang mau diperbanyak,” ujar Mario sapaan akrabnya, Senin (31/08/2020).

Mario mengatakan bahwa kapasitas truk sampah bisa memuat sampah lebih banyak dengan sistem press. Oleh karena itu, sejumlah truk sampah akan diperuntukkan jadi bus wisata.

“Karena kalau saya tidak salah, truk sampah yang ada sekarang, jika kebutuhannya 1 kali, itu sebenarnya bisa 5 kali, karena bisa di press ki di dalam sampahnya,” tambahnya.

Ia juga menjelaskan mengenai truk sampah tangkasa yang umumnya digunakan mengangkut sampah memiliki kondisi yang layak. Rencananya, sebanyak 3 truk sampah akan dimodifikasi.

“Saya kira pasti dilihat memang kondisi mobil sampah yang bagus, kan mobil sampah yang Tangkasa itu kan lumayan bagus. tapi itu mungkin itu baru mau dicoba dulu 3 dulu,” jelasnya.

Terkait kapasitas truk sampah itu sendiri bisa mengangkut sekitar 20 orang.

“Kapasitasnya kalau bus bus 3/4 kan paling 22-24, begitu truk sampah, sekitar itu, tapi kan ada yang duduk, ada yang berdiri kalau memang begitu,” pungkasnya.
