Peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an

Al-Qur’an, petunjuk yang diturunkan Allah SWT untuk hambanya yang beriman.

“Bulan Ramadan, bulan yang di dalamnya diturunkan (permulaan) Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia dan penjelasan-penjelasan mengenai petunjuk itu dan pembeda (antara yang hak dan yang batil).” (QS. Al-Baqarah,185)

karebaindonesia.id – Nuzulul Qur’an diperingati setiap bulan Ramadhan—bertepatan, pada malam Lailatul Qadar. Bagi umat Islam peristiwa Nuzulul Qur’an merupakan suatu kejadian yang memiliki nilai spiritual yang agung, di mana Al-Qur’an diturunkan saat malam Lailatul Qadar, yang kemudian dikenal sebagai “malam yang nilainya lebih mulia dari seribu bulan”. Oleh karenanya, semestinya aktualisasi nilai-nilai Nuzulul Qur’an disongsong dengan kesiapan spiritual yang baik, sehingga transformasi nilai yang terdapat di dalamnya dapat diambil hikmahnya, utamanya dalam rangka peningkatan moral dan akhlak umat.

Al-Qur’an merupakan landasan moral, baik dalam kehidupan pribadi, keluarga, berbangsa dan bernegara. Dengan berpegang teguh pada Al-Qur’an, maka hidup kita akan terbimbing sesuai dengan koridor hukum yang berlaku. Dalam Al-Qur’an terkandung petunjuk yang mencakup semua bidang kehidupan, seperti politik, agama, dan budaya. Karena itu sangat penting mempelajari dan mendekatkan diri dengan Al-Qur’an. Al-Qur’an bukan cuma untuk dibaca, tapi direnungkan ayat-ayatnya.

Turunnya Al-Quran pada tanggal 17 Ramadhan dan pengkaitannya dengan turunnya surat pertama kepada Nabi Muhammad Saw. saat melakukan khalwat di gua Hira, masih diperdebatkan oleh para ulama. Surat pertama tersebut kemudian dinamakan surat Al-‘Alaq, berjumlah lima ayat. Namun satu yang pasti, pada tanggal 17 Ramadhan telah terjadi perang Badar. Perang tersebut merupakan perang yang pertama kali terjadi dalam sejarah awal perkembangan agama Islam. Oleh karena itu, perang tersebut begitu berarti dan sangat menentukan, karena menyangkut kelangsungan agama Islam di kemudian hari.

Namun demikian, ada baiknya di sini disinggung arti kata nuzûl al-Qur’ân untuk memberikan pengertian yang memadai berkaitan dengan peristiwa atau kejadian tersebut. Dalam Al-Quran terdapat tiga kata yang menjelaskan turunnya Al-Quran—ketiganya merupakan derivasi atau kata turunan dari akar kata yang sama, yakni na-za-la. Ketiga kata tersebut adalah inzâl, dari akar kata anzala, nuzûl dari akar kata nazala, dan tanzîl dari akar kata nazzala.

Al-Quran diturunkan pada malam-malam ganjil dalam sepuluh hari terakhir bulan Ramadhan. Malam-malam tersebut dinamakan laylat al-qadr atau malam kepastian. Proses turunnya Al-Quran disebut inzâl, yakni diturunkannya Al-Quran ke lawh al-mahfûzh dalam wujud prototipe kitab suci—proses yang serupa juga dialami oleh kitab-kitab suci lain sebelumnya. Selanjutnya, Al-Quran diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad Saw., prosesnya disebut nuzûl—membutuhkan waktu 23 tahun.

Semantara itu, kata tanzîl mengandung pengertian proses pembumian Al-Quran ke dalam realitas kehidupan. Di sini, fungsi dan peran Al-Quran adalah merespons, menjawab, dan memberikan berbagai solusi atau pemecahan atas berbagai persoalan sosial yang dihadapi oleh umat Islam. Contohnya, ada seseorang yang bertanya kepada Nabi Muhammad Saw. tentang bulan sabit, al-ahillah, seperti dalam ayat Al-Quran disebutkan, Mereka bertanya kepadamu tentang bulan-bulan baru. Katakanlah, “Itu hanya tanda-tanda waktu untuk manusia dan untuk musim haji…,” (Q.S. 2: 189).

Pembumian Al-Qur’an perlu untuk memanusiakan manusia. Kehadiran Islam melalui kandungan normativitas Al-Qur’an, dimaksudkan untuk mengubah masyarakat (nas) dari apa yang diistilahkan sebagai ‘kegelapan’ (dzulumat) kepada ‘cahaya’ (nur). Dan sesungguhnya inilah inti dari Al-Qur’an yang mengandung pesan-pesan moral-sosial bagi umat manusia. Ini relevan dengan salah satu sabda Rasulullah yang mengatakan bahwa beliau diutus oleh Allah sebagai penyempurna moralitas manusia.

Misi Al-Qur’an itu sendiri, yakni transformasi sosial melalui jalan pembebasan untuk menciptakan moral-sosial yang berkeadilan, berkeadaban, maju, progresif, dan inklusif. Tuhan tidak berbicara pada suatu ruang hampa dan tidak mengirim pesan yang dibentuk di dalam kehampaan. Karena itu, peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an bagi umat Islam memberikan pesan perlunya transformasi dalam seluruh segmen kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, dari tingkat paling bawah hingga tingkat paling atas. Transformasi sosial ini harus dimulai dari perubahan individual yang kemudian diikuti dengan perubahan institusional.

Akan tetapi, transformasi tidak akan terwujud tanpa dilandasi dengan apa yang disebut oleh Al-Qur’an di dalam wahyu pertama dengan ‘Iqra’, yakni membaca. Ayat pertama surat Al-‘Alaq memerintahkan kepada semua umat manusia untuk mempelajari fenomena-fenomena ciptaan Allah, semua ilmu-ilmu Allah, baik yang tertulis di dalam teks-teks Kitab Suci, maupun yang tersebar di jagad raya. Dengan kata lain, basis utama sebuah transformasi sosial adalah pemuliaan terhadap ilmu pengetahuan.

Pengetahuan membuka pikiran manusia dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu. Pengetahuan menjadi cahaya yang menyingkap kegelapan itu. Al-Qur’an telah memberikan semacam ‘road map’ atau peta jalan bagi sebuah transformasi sosial berbasis ilmu pengetahuan. Transformasi itu sendiri, di dalam dirinya, terkandung semangat pada ilmu pengetahuan. Peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an dengan demikian kembali menggugah kita untuk memuliakan ilmu pengetahuan demi terciptanya transformasi sosial, membawa bangsa dan negara ini ke arah yang lebih baik.

Al-Qur’an mengandung isyarat-isyarat tentang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek) serta ayat-ayat alam (kauniyah) yang dapat dijadikan motivasi dan inspirasi dalam berbagai rekayasa, baik sosial, teknik maupun genetika. Al-Qur’an tidak hanya mengandung pokok-pokok ajaran agama yang meliputi akidah, syariah dan akhlak, yang mengatur hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan dan hubungan dengan sesama manusia dan lingkungannya, tetapi juga isyarat-isyarat tentang iptek.

Al-Qur’an tidak hanya mengandung pokok-pokok ajaran agama. Al-Qur’an juga membawa misi perubahan yang memungkinkan masyarakat mewujudkan peradaban baru berkat kemampuannya mengembangkan iptek dan pengamalan hukum-hukum Ilahi, baik yang termaktub dalam kitab suci maupun yang terbentang di alam raya. Banyak sekali iptek yang telah ditemukan dan memberi manfaat besar bagi dunia berkat adanya informasi dalam Al-Quran. Namun demikian masih terdapat lebih banyak lagi informasi kemukjizatan yang masih menjadi misteri yang menunggu kesanggupan manusia untuk membuktikan kebenarannya.

Dengan menjadikan peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an sebagai momentum untuk memperbaiki interaksi dengan Al-Qur’an, meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dengan kitab suci, bukan hanya sekedar membacanya pada tingkat aspek ibadah. Tetapi juga pada perenungan atau penggalian hikmah dan isyarat-isyarat Al-Qur’an. Dengan cara itu kita dapat menerjemahkan nilai-nilai universalitas Al-Qur’an yang diyakini sebagai pandangan hidup dan petunjuk bagi kehidupan manusia sehingga dapat menjadi petunjuk bagi arah perjalanan bangsa ini.
