Pengelola memperlihatkan salah satu ikan terbesar yang ada di unit usaha ternak ikan Ponpes Darul Arqam Gombara

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Pondok pesantren Darul Arqam Gombara merintis unit usaha ternak ikan yang merupakan bantuan langsung dari menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan.

Diketahui, bantuan yang diberikan oleh ibu Susi Pudjiastuti selaku Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan pada masa akhir jabatannya tahun 2019 lalu, berupa alat dan bibit ikan yang di kelola menggunakan sistem bioflok. Peternakan tersebut berada di bawah naungan badan unit usaha yg juga menaungi beberapa usaha lain. Ternak ikan tersebut difungsikan sebagai salah satu unit amal usaha dalam upaya pengembangan pondok pesantren kedepannya.

Hal itu disampaikan oleh Abdul.Mu’min selaku pengelola unit usaha peternakan. Kata dia, pengadaan ternak ikan ini sangat membantu dalam pengembangan pesantren.

“Untuk ternak ikan ini sudah ada enam belas kolam, di putra ada delapan kolam dan di putri juga ada delapan kolam, yang dalam setahun ini sudah menghasilkan sekitar Rp 7 juta untuk membantu pengembangan pondok,” ungkap Abdul Mu’min.

Lanjut dia katakan, hasil dari peternakan ini tidak hanya dipasarkan ke masyarakat. Akan tetapi, juga dapat di konsumsi oleh para santri dan para pengelola pondok.

Hal senada diungkapkan oleh WADIR (Wakil Direktur) II M. Ridwan Hamzah yang mengatakan bahwa, bantuan ini sangat membantu dalam hal kewirausahaan pondok.

“Tentu bantuan ini cukup membantu dalam hal pengembangan pondok khususnya pada bidang kewirausahaan. Oleh karena itu, kami berharap semoga unit usaha ini bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi pondok pesantren yang ada di Indonesia dan terkhusus di Sulawesi Selatan,” paparnya.
