Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar melakukan seleksi pemilihan mahasiswa berprestasi (PILMAPRES) guna menambah spirit belajar mahasiswanya.

Baru-baru ini, pengumuman mahasiswa berprestasi dipublikasikan (26/05/2021) kemarin. Hasilnya, terdapat dua orang mahasiswi dari jurusan Hukum Ekonomi Syariah (HES) Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) berhasil mengharumkan nama jurusan, Fakultas, Lembaga, dan keluarga tentunya.

Diketahui, dua mahasiswi tersebut masing-masing bernama Lutfia Arfan menjadi yang terbaik kedua kategori mahasiswa berprestasi. Sementara Umirahayusari, juga membanggakan sebagai bagian dari mahasiswa berprestasi Unismuh Makassar.

Lutfia, menuturkan bagaimana dirinya bisa mendapatkan hal tersebut. Kata dia, melihat peluang dari PILMAPRES ini, saya sangat ingin mengetahui sampai dimana batas kemampuan saya dalam bersaing apalagi dengan seluruh mahasiswa terbaik dari setiap jurusan.

“Masalah menang atau kalah itu adalah bonus. paling tidak saya telah mendapatkan kesempatan sebagai salah satu mahasiswa yang terpilih untuk mewakili fakultas saya,sebenarnya ini sudah sangat cukup,” beber Lutfia.

Lanjutnya, namun dengan ini saya sangat menyarankan kepada seluruh mahasiswa UNISMUH khususnya FAI agar selalu bisa memanfaatkan peluang yang disediakan baik itu dari Fakultas maupun pihak universitas agar bisa meningkatkan potensi diri agar bisa mengharumkan nama baik fakultas sekalipun universitas.

Hal senada diungkapkan oleh Umi, dia juga bercerita tentang raihannya yang membuat orang di sekitarnya bangga tersebut.

“Menjadi produktif adalah slogan yang saya gaungkan untuk saat ini. Terkhususnya kita sebagai mahasiswa tidak hanya menjadi akademis ataupun organisatoris melainkan menjadikan Aktivis yang senantiasa memproduktifkan diri,” terang Umi.

Lanjut Umi katakan, dengan mengikuti Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar adalah salah satu cara untuk memproduktifkan diri. Bukan untuk Kemenangan melainkan untuk menambah pengalaman serta untuk menambah rentetan kisah dalam buku kehidupan untuk dibacakan di kemudian hari.
