Rayakan 75 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka, BI Luncurkan Mata Uang 75 Ribu Rupiah

Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Dalam memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia yang ke-75 tahun, Bank Indonesia dan Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu) RI, akan meluncurkan mata uang Rupiah dengan nominal 75 Ribu Rupiah pada Senin, 17 Agustus 2020 hari ini.

Kepala Biro Komunikasi dan Layanan Informasi Kemenkeu, Rahayu Puspasari mengkonfirmasi kebenaran rencana tersebut pada Minggu, 16 Agustus 2020 kemarin.

“Betul. Pemerintah RI dan Bank Indonesia besok akan meluncurkan pengeluaran Uang Peringatan Kemerdekaan 75 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka,” ujarnya.

Peluncuran mata uang Rupiah tersebut menjadi rangkaian 75 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka. Rencananya, peluncuran mata uang Rupiah tersebut akan dilakukan Gubernur BI, Perry Warjito dan Menteri Keuangan, Sri Mulyani Indrawati.

Selain itu, acara peluncuran tersebut akan dilakukan secara virtual untuk para undangan, sekaligus dilakukan penyerahan simbolis kepada keluarga Ir. Soekarno sebagai wujud apresiasi Indonesia kepada pahlawan bangsa.[]
