Rusdi Masse: Kita Taat Konstitusi, NasDem Sulsel Tolak Penundaan Pemilu

Karebaindonesia.id, MAKASSAR – Partai NasDem secara tegas menolak wacana penundaan Pemilu 2024 yang berimplikasi pada perpanjangan masa jabatan presiden.

Wacana itu dinilai melanggar amanat reformasi dan konstitusi.

Ketua DPW NasDem Sulsel, Rusdi Masse menegaskan bahwa sebagai kader NasDem satu komando dengan apa disampaikan ketua umum NasDem Surya Paloh, yang tegas menolak penundaan pemilu 2024 karena melabrak konstitusi.

Menurutnya, jika ada wacana dari segelintir elit parpol lain adalah hal biasa dalam memberikan pandangan.

Namun, penundaan pemilu sama halnya melanggar konstitusi yang telah ditetapkan oleh DPR dan Pemerontah serta penyelenggara pemilu.

“Yang jelas kita taat terhadap konstitusi, kalau namanya wacana-wacana penundaan pemilu 2024 silahkan saja. Tapi kan yang harus dipatuhi itu konstitusi, sehingga kami NasDem menolak wacana itu,” ujar RMS belum lama ini.

Lanjut anggota DPR RI itu, Ketua umum Surya Paloh telah menginstruksikan seluruh anggota DPR dari fraksi Partai NasDem untuk mendorong agar perhelatan pesta demokrasi 2024 supaya tidak ditunda.

“Pak Ketum telah sampaikan agar anggota fraksi NasDem dan lader NasDem menolak adanya carana penundaan pemilu. Tentu kita mengajak semua pihak, untuk tetap menggelar Pemilu,” ujarnya meniru apa disampaikan Surya Paloh.

Dikatakan, DPR, Kemendagri, KPU dan Bawaslu menyepakati Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024 dilaksanakan pada 14 Februari 2024 dan Pilkada Serentak 27 November 2024.

“NasDem tetap bersama penyelenggara pemilu. Kita ingin menempatkan kepentingan bangsa, sesuai konstitusi. Kalau konstitusinya berbicara seperti itu maka NasDem akan berada paling depan mematuhi aturan,” jelasnya.

Sekretaris DPW NasDem Sulsel, Syahruddin Alrief mengatakan, apa yang disampaikan ketua umum sudah jelas. sehingga kader mengawal untuk pemilu tetap berlanjut 2024.

“Itu kan sudah jelas disampaikan pak Surya Paloh di Jawa Timur, menolak penundaan pemilu, karena ini sudah diterapkan oleh komisi II dan KPU, sudah ada jadwal jadi pemilu tetap berjalan,” katanya

Menurutnya, efek pemilu ditunda, banyak hal yang mungkin ada pro kontra, itulah yang dihindari. Apalagi ada parpol menyetujui lewat suara publik.

“Kan ada 3 parpol setuju, itu kan pernyataan parpol. Kalau kami NasDem tetap agar pemilu 2024 dilanjutkan, kami NasDem ikut perintah ketum,” pungkasnya.

Diketahui, sejumlah politisi dari lingkaran Jokowi mengusulkan penundaan jadwal Pemilu 2024.

Ketua Umum PKB, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar misalnya mengusulkan pemilu ditunda satu-dua tahun demi kepentingan ekonomi.

Begitu juga dengan Ketua Umum PAN, Zulkifli Hasan yang setuju dengan penundaan pemilu. Alasan Zulhas, pandemi perlu diselesaikan secara serius dan pemulihan ekonomi.
