Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Ketua Dewan Pengurus Wilayah (DPW) Partai Nasional Demokrat (Nasdem), Rusdi Masse memaafkan sejumlah siswa dan mahasiswa yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka perusakan Kantor Dewan Perwakilan Daerah DPD Nasdem Makassar dan pembakaran mobil ambulance pada saat aksi Demonstrasi beberapa waktu lalu.

Dilansir dari ideatimes.id, Rusdi Masse meminta aparat kepolisian yang menahan sejumlah siswa dan mahasiswa tersebut untuk dibebaskan.

“Cukup dimaafkan saja, mereka mahasiswa anak kita semua. Kalau bisa dihentikan proses hukum. Saya akan bicarakan sama DPD Nasdem Makassar,” ujarnya, saat ditemui di kantor DPD Nasdem Makassar pada Ahad, 25 Oktober 2020 siang tadi.

Tambahnya, tokoh yang juga adalah anggota DPR-RI ini menilai bahwa aksi demonstrasi yang dilakukan mahasiswa atas penolakan UU Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law beberapa waktu lalu adalah hal biasa dalam dunia pergerakan.

Baginya, mahasiswa hanya terbawa emosi sesaat saat melakukan aksi demonstrasi yang berujung perusakan kantor DPD Nasdem Makassar dan pembakaran mobil ambulance NasDem. Maka tak perlu dipersalahkan lebih lanjut dan berlarut-larut.

“Namanya mahasiswa saat aksi, emosi sesaat. Tuhan saja maafkan hamba-Nya, apalagi manusia. Insyaallah Nasdem memaafkan. Jadi jangam tindak lanjut, saya akan coba lakukan komunikasi dengan semua pihak,” jelasnya.[]
