Polewali Mandar, karebaindonesia.id – Menyambut peringatan Sumpah Pemuda di tahun 2020, Ketua Forum Pemuda Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (FPBTI), Amul Hikmah Budiman memberikan motivasi dan semangat kepemudaan dan kebangsaan di hadapan ratusan mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Alsyariah Mandar (UNASMAN).

Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Padepokan Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia (HIMAPBIN) UNASMAN pada Selasa, 27 Oktober 2020 siang tadi yang dihadiri oleh mayoritas mahasiswa baru dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan selama kegiatan berlansung.

Tokoh Pemuda Maros lulusan Magister Manajemen Kepemudaan Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Hasanuddin ini turut memberikan pesan agar teman-teman mahasiswa baru mampu menjaga identitas kebangsaan, kebahasaan, dan kebudayaan kita melalui idealisme yang dianutnya.

“Tantangan kita semakin berat, teman-teman muda harus progresif dan massif melakukan edukasi ke masyarakat untuk menjaga identitas kebangsaan dan kultur kearifan lokal kita,” ujar Amul Hikmah Budiman yang juga pernah menjabat Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) Pengurus Pusat Ikatan Mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia se-Indonesia (PP-IMABSII) 2014-2016 ini.

Tambahnya, dia juga memberikan saran agar teman-teman mahasiswa mendorong lahirnya peraturan daerah (Perda) kepemudaan di daerah agar mampu memberikan ruang demokrasi, ideologis, dan inovasi ke pemuda.

Kegiatan ini pun ditutup dengan pembacaan Sumpah Pemuda yang diikuti seluruh peserta dan tamu yang menghadiri kegiatan tersebut sebagai upaya penguatan jiwa dan raga pemuda Indonesia.[]
