Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id — Aksi unjuk rasa di Gedung DPRD Kota Makassar berakhir dengan pengrusakan sejumlah aset ruang sidang paripurna DPRD Kota Makassar, Selasa (01/09/2020) pagi.
Mereka kecewa, lantaran tak satupun dari anggota dewan yang menemuinya saat berunjukrasa di Kantor DPRD Kota Makassar.
Diketahui, massa tersebut merupakan anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) Korkom Tamalate.
Massa yang berdemonstrasi sejak Senin (31/08) sore kemarin ini melakukan aksinya saat anggota dewan dan staf DPRD Makassar sudah pulang.
Kasubag Humas DPRD Kota Makassar, Taufiq Nadsir membenarkan hal ini.
“Iya betul, mereka datang jam 5 sore dimana anggota (Dewan) sudah pulang. Demo ini juga tidak ada pemberitahuan sebelumnya, juga tidak ada pernyataan sikap yang diteruskan ke pimpinan,” ujar Taufiq, Selasa (01/09/2020).
Taufik sapaan akrabnya, menjelaskan bahwa mereka (HMI Korkom Tamalate) tidak ada yang menerimanya, sehingga peserta aksi menginap dan melanjutkan demonstrasi pagi hari hingga terjadi pengerusakan ruang paripurna DPRD Kota Makassar.
“Dari kemarin mereka bilang kalau akan menginap jika tidak ada nggota dewan yang menerima, ternyata mereka memang menginap di lantai dua gedung DPRD,” jelas Taufik.
“Tadi pagi mereka naik ke ruang paripurna dan mendobrak pintu kemudian obrak abrik meja pimpinan,” pungkasnya.
