karebaindonesia.id,- Warga Net dikejutkan dengan kejadian pernikahan dini yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Juni 2020. Pernikahan yang dilakukan di Kampung Lamajakka, Desa Watung Pulu, Kecamatan Suppa, Kabupaten Pinrang Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Pernikahan tersebut terjadi dengan kesetaraan usia yang jauh berbeda oleh Baharuddin yang berusia 44 tahun, dan istrinya NS berusia 12 Tahun.
Seperti yang di lansir dari Kumparan.com (05/07/2020), Baharuddin merupakan seorang tuna netra dan memiliki pekerjaan sebagai terapis pijat yang berasal dari Makassar. Pertemuan pasangan tersebut terjadi di rumah SN ketika Baharuddin dimintai untuk memijat. Setelah pertemuannya dengan NS, Baharuddin selalu berkomunikasi dengan NS bahkan menjalani hubungan dengan waktu yang begitu singkat.
“Iya betul, adanya pernikahan anak di bawah umur dan sudah didalami oleh pemerintah,” Kata Chandra selaku AKP
Pada mulanya, Baharuddin hanya menganggap NS sebagai anak karena berbeda usia. Namun, semakin lama Baharuddin dan NS memiliki perasaan yang sama dan akhirnya memantapkan diri untuk menikah. Acara lamaran dan pernikahan dilangsungkan di rumah kakak kandung NS di Desa Lamajakka. Pernikahan tersebut dilakukan dengan adat Bugis Makassar dan prosesi pernikahan yang sesuai pada umum.
“Namun pihak KUA menolak dengan pertimbangan bahwa usia perempuan yang tergolong masih di bawah umur. Tapi, kakak kandung dari NS, tetap menikahkan mereka,” tambah Chandra.
Dari penolakan KUA, keluarga NS tetap mengajukan permohonan kepada Pengadilan Agama Pinrang agar memperoleh ketetapan dalam pernikahan yang dilaksanakan secara sah.
