Setelah UEA dan Bahrain, Israel Rencana Jalin Hubungan Dengan Satu Negara Arab

Karebaindonesia.id – Setelah Uni Emirat Arab (UEA) dan Bahrain, Israel berencana akan menjalin hubungan diplomatik dengan satu negara Arab dalam waktu dekat.

Duta Besar Amerika Serikat (AS) untuk Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) Kelly Craft mengonfirmasi hal tersebut.

Dilansir dari Media Al-Arabiya, Kelly Craft mengatakan bahwa akan ada negara Arab lain yang akan melaksanakan kesepakatan damai dengan Israel dalam waktu satu atau dua hari mendatang.

“Rencana kami adalah membawa lebih banyak negara yang akan diumumkan lebih banyak lagi segera. Satu (negara akan menandatangani kesepakatan damai) dalam satu atau dua hari ke depan,” ujarnya.

Meski demikian, Kelly Craft tidak menyebutkan spesifik negara Arab apa yang dimaksud. Namun, dia mengungkapkan bahwa AS juga mengharapkan Arab Saudi juga berpartisipasi dalam penandatanganan kesepakatan damai dengan Israel.

“Jelas, kami akan menyambut Arab Saudi menjadi yang berikutnya. Tetapi yang penting adalah kami fokus pada perjanjian dan kami tidak mengizinkan rezim (Iran) untuk mengeksploitasi niat baik Bahrain, UEA, atau Israel,” katanya.

Sebelumnya, Presiden AS, Donald Trump mengapresiasi keputusan UEA dan Bahrain dalam normalisasi hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel sebagai upaya mengakhiri konflik dan perpecahan yang berlangsung di kawasan Jazirah Arab.[]
