Songsong Pesta Demokrasi, Pj Walikota Makassar Gelar Rapat Koordinasi Pelaksanaan Tahapan Pilwalkot

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Pemerintah Kota Makassar menggelar rapat koordinasi bersama lembaga Forkopimda, KPU, dan Bawaslu terkait kesiapan pelaksanaan tahapan Pemilihan Walikota (Pilwalkot) Makassar yang akan diselenggarakan 9 Desember 2020 nanti. Kegiatan rapat tersebut berlangsung di Gedung Balai Kota Makassar pada Rabu, 29 Juli 2020 pagi tadi.

Rapat ini dipimpin oleh Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Makassar Prof. Rudy Djamaluddin yang dihadiri oleh sejumlah tokoh, seperti Kombes Pol Yudhiawan Wibisono (Kapolrestabes Makassar), Kolonel Kav. Dwi Irbaya Sandra (Dandim 1408/BS Makassar), Rudianto Lallo (Ketua DPRD Kota Makassar), Farid Wajdi (Ketua KPU Kota Makassar), Perwakilan Bawalsu Makassar, Kejari Makassar dan unsur-unsur terkait.

Pj Walikota Makassar dalam paparannya memberikan dukungan penuh kepada KPU dan Bawaslu dalam pelaksanaan Pilwalkot Kota Makassar 9 Desember mendatang. Dirinya juga meyakini pemilu akan berjalan dengan lancar dibawah dukungan TNI-Polri dan seluruh elemen terkait. Meski demikian, dirinya meminta para penyelenggara untuk memastikan seluruh hak memilih masyarakat terpenuhi.

“Jadi memamg kebenaran data hak masyarakat harus kita perhatikan. Seluruh hak pilih terakomodir dalam proses demokrasi kita. Dengan harapan pesta demokrasi bisa berjalan dan memenuhi kreteria-kreteria dasar sehingga bisa dilakatakan pemilihan kita berjalan sukses dan lancar,” katanya dalam wawancara pada Rabu, 29 Juli 2020 siang tadi.

Tambahnya, Pj Walikota Makassar juga meminta untuk anggaran yang digunakan KPU dan Bawaslu digunakan secara efektif dan bisa dipertanggungjawabkan demi kesuksesan Pilwalkot. Untuk itu, ia berharap pesta demokrasi di Kota Makassar nanti bakal menghasilkan pemimpin yang bisa memajukan Kota Makassar.

“Pesta demokrasi adalah proses bagi seluruh warga Makassar untuk menentukan pemimpin-pemimpin yang tentunya menjadi dambaan warga untuk bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan,” katanya.

Sementara Ketua KPU Kota Makassar, Farid Wajdi mengatakan, pihaknya memiliki tantangan dalam melaksanakam tahapan Pilwalkot di masa pandemi virus Covid-19. Mengingat banyak warga merasa khawatir dengan kehadiran petugas pemuktahiran data pemilih (PPDP).

“Masih banyak warga yang menutup pintu rumahnya. Kita terus coba yakinkan warga, jika petugas kami sudah melalukan Rapid test. Dan proses pencocokan data itu dilakuan dengan standar prtokol kesehatan. Menggunakan masker, membawa alat tulis sendiri, sarung tangan, dan hand sanitizer,” katanya.

Ia juga melaporkan kegiatan pencocokan dan penelitian (coklit) data pemilih di Kota Makassar saat ini sudah di angka 54% atau 573.917 dari total 1.048.151 Daftar Penduduk Potensial Pemilih Pemilihan (DP4).

“Jadi target kami kelar pada 5 Agustus dari target yang diberikan KPU Pusat 13 Agustus mendatang. Kenapa kita mundur, supaya kita memiliki waktu untuk review kembali masalah-masalah di tingkat bawah,” jelasnya.

Koordinator Divisi Penindakan Bawaslu Makassar, Sri Wahyuningsih menambahkan, pihaknya bersama Pemkot Makassar bakal melakukan deklarasi netralitas Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) pada Agustus mendatang.

“Ini penting sekali ASN kita galang untuk melakukan sosialisasi terkait netralitas. Karena saat ini, ada beberapa ASN kita periksa terkait netralitas,” pungkasnya.
