Stadion Mattoanging Punya Desain Baru, Warga Sulsel Pesimis

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id,- Renovasi markas kebesaran klub kebanggaan warga Sulsel, PSM Makassar, baru saja kembali punya desain baru. Para suporter klub berjuluk Laskar Ayam Jantan itu merasa pesimis. Pasalnya, tahap pengerjaan belum dilakukan, kini desain baru Stadion Mattoanging diluncurkan. (Ahad, 30/08/2020).

Rasa pesimisme warga Sulsel, khususnya Kota Makassar terkait renovasi stadion, tak lain karena mengingat anggaran yang baru tersedia oleh Pemerintah Provinsi baru sekitar 200 Milyar lebih. Sementara yang dibutuhkan untuk sampai tahap akhir ialah 900 Milyar.

Selain itu, yang membuat warga pesimis lagi ialah riwayat Stadion Barombong yang pernah digadang-gadang bakal jadi stadion termegah di Sulsel beberapa tahun lalu kini nasibnya tak jelas. Padahal pembangunan Stadion Barombong tinggal pengerjaan interior, kursi penonton dan akses jalan.

Gubernur Sulsel Nurdin Abdullah menegaskan dalam rapat Paripurna tentang Kebijakan Umum APBD tahun anggaran 2021 (Sabtu, 29/08/2020), mengatakan bahwa pembangunan Stadion Mattoanging harus selesai, ini merupakan program prioritas Pemprov Sulsel.

“Kami juga sedang berusaha agar stadion ini juga dapat didanai oleh APBN.”

“Hadirnya stadion dengan standar internasional ini nantinya akan mendorong pemulihan ekonomi Sulsel, berbagai event akan banyak diadakan di Makassar.” Tambah mantan Dosen Pertanian Unhas ini di hadapan anggota DPRD Sulsel saat Rapat Paripurna.

Besar harapan penggemar PSM Makassar menyambut pembangunan renovasi Stadion Mattoanging. Mengingat PSM Makassar akan berlaga di AFC Cup, kompetisi kasta kedua klub se-Asia itu. Tentunya, para penggemar menuntut Pemprov agar segera membangun stadion bertaraf internasional untuk menyaksikan klub kesayangan mereka beraksi di kampung halaman sendiri. Bukan menjadi tim musafir yang tak memiliki stadion yang lulus lisensi AFC.
