Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kelautan (STITEK) Balik Diwa Makassar tengah bersiap mengaplikasikan merdeka belajar dengan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (KMBKM) yang merupakan terobosan dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud).
Program kurikulum tersebut memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan konektivitas perguruan tinggi dengan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI) dengan memberikan hak kepada mahasiswa untuk memilih program KMBKM yang ingin diikuti.
STITEK Balik Diwa Makassar telah merumuskan kebijakan di tingkat pimpinan dan penjaminan mutu untuk mengimplementasikan KMBKM dengan tetap menonjolkan bidang perikanan dan kelautan.
Pada sebuah kesempatan, STITEK Balik Diwa duduk bersama dengan mitra DUDI dan pemerintah untuk menyamakan persepsi terkait KMBKM melalui kegiatan lokakarya yang berlangsung di Hotel Maxone Makassar pada Selasa, 10 November 2020 siang tadi.
Kegiatan tersebut diinisiasi oleh program studi Budidaya Perairan dan Teknologi Hasil Perikanan sebagai penerima hibah program Kerjasama Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka yang diselenggarakan oleh Ditjen Belmawa Kemendikbud.
Mitra yang hadir yaitu perwakilan dari BPMPP Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Sulsel, BRPBAP3 Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, PT. Central Proteina Prima Tbk., SMKN 4 Kabupaten Takalar, dan PT. Global Maju Pratama.
Kegiatan dibuka oleh Wakil Ketua I Bidang Pendidikan dan Pengajaran, Awaluddin yang pada kesempatan tersebut menjelaskan relevansi KMBKM terhadap kebutuhan lulusan saat ini.
“Perguruan Tinggi saat ini terus berupaya menyesuaikan diri untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang inovatif dengan keterampilan 4C yaitu critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity,” ujarnya.
Tambahnya, melalui kegiatan ini, STITEK Balik Diwa Makassar telah memiliki perangkat yang lengkap mulai dari kebijakan, penjaminan mutu, dan kurikulum yang siap mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka belajar kampus merdeka.
Selain itu, hadir pula sebagai narasumber pada kegiatan tersebut, Muh. Akmal Ibrahim menjelaskan mengenai proses penyusunan KMBKM.
“Kata kunci dalam penyusunan kurikulum merdeka belajar kampus merdeka yaitu terkait penentuan capaian profil lulusan dan integrasinya ke dalam sistem konversi SKS dengan mengacu pada 8 kegiatan yang ditawarkan,” katanya.[]
