Pangkep, Karebaindonesia.id – Wakil ketua DPRD prov Sulawesi selatan H.Syaharuddin alrif S.ip bersama bupati pangkep Muhammad Yusran Lalogau menggelar Sosialisasi Budidaya Tanaman Porang.di hadapan kelompok tani di Kelurahan Balleangin
Kec. Ballocci Kab. Pangkep Sabtu (18/07/2021)

Dalam sambutannya Bupati Pangkep, H. Muh Yusran Lalogau, menyampaikan kepada kelompok tani yang hadir mengikuti sosialisasi budidaya tanaman porang dan mengingatkan kepada para petani tentang visi misi kabupaten pangkep Hebat dari segi pertanian.

Saat sambutannya ia juga mengatakan, bahwa petani yang ada di pangkep saat ini, harus serius dalam mengikuti materi terkait porang yang di sampaikan bapak porang Indonesia,dia melihat apa yang di lakukan beliau di sidrap harus kita lakukan juga di pangkep,”ujarnya

Sekertaris partai Nasdem Sulawesi selatan H.Syaharuddin alrif S.ip MM,” mengatakan, Kabupaten Pangkep sangat berpotensi menjadi sentra porang di Sulawesi selatan,karena itulah syahar memperkenalkan tanaman porang kepada petani di Balleangin, dengan harapan memberikan manfaat dan peluang bagi masyarakat.

Syahar mengatakan, hari ini masyarakat perlu melakukan inovasi dan mencari peluang bagaimana memanfaatkan lahan yang ada, menjadi satu lahan yang bermanfaat sehingga bisa mendongkrak perekonomian yang sedang lesu.

Saat ini saya sudah lebih dahulu membudidayakan bibit porang 1 tahun yang lalu terletak di Desa Tellumae Kec Wattang Sidenreng Kab sidrap dan hasilnya cukup menjanjikan, tidak hanya umbi porang saja yang bisa dijual, namun bagian lain dari porang ini juga bisa bernilai ekonomis,” ungkap Syahar.
