Penyebarluasan Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan di Desa Betao Riase, Kecamatan Pitu Riawa, Kabupaten Sidrap, Ahad (19/09).
Dalam kegiatan itu Syaharuddin Alrief mendatangkan Kepala Balai Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai dan hutan lindung Je’nneberang Saddang Makassar. Muhammad Tahir.
Sekira 200 warga yang hadir dalam kegiatan itu pun tampak senang karena mereka juga mendapat bantuan sekira 18000 bibit pohon durian musang king yang dibawa Kepala Balai Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai dan hutan lindung Je’neberang Saddang Makassar.
“Terima kasih, bantuan ini ada berkat bapak Saharuddin Alrief yang memfasilitasi,” ujar Kepala Desa Betao Riase Suardi Laupe.
Menurut Suardi Desa Betao Riase tergolong desa tertinggal, namun memiliki banyak potensi. “Hanya saja untuk membuat potensi tersebut bisa berjalan perlu bantuan, salah satunya dari Wakil Rakyat yang mendatangkan pihak terkait,” katanya.
Kepala Balai Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai dan hutan lindung Je’nneberang Saddang Makassar, Muhammad Tahir menjelaskan, bibit durian Musang King akan dikirim bertahap, tahap pertama sebanyak 5000 bibit, tahap kedua juga 5000 bibit dan sisanya akan di kirim pada tahap ketiga.
“Kami tidak minta kalau sudah berhasil, Tapi ingat nanti staf saya akan turun melihat langsung dimana bibit durian itu ditanam, karena itu untuk laporan pertanggung jawaban,” katanya.
Saat ini, ada aturan baru dimana masyarakat nantinya dapat mengelola hutan melalui program hutan sosial atau Hutan Kemasyarakatan, namun ada aturan-aturan, yang tujuannya untuk melindungi masyarakat dari bencana, seperti banjir dan longsor.
“Masyarakat nantinya akan diberi izin mengelola selama 35 tahun dan bisa diperpanjang lagi 35 tahun ,” katanya.
Sekretaris DPD NasDem Sulsel itu juga mengungkapkan memiliki konsep menjadikan Desa Betao Riase sentra buah durian, sehingga Syahar meminta masyarakat agar benar-benar memanfaatkan bantuan yang diberikan.
“Mencari bantuan bibit durian ini tidak mudah, karena itu saya berharap masyarakat tanam dan rawat baik-baik bantuan bibit durian tersebut,” katanya.
Syaharuddin optimis jika bantuan tersebut di kelola dengan baik, empat tahun kedepan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Betao Riase akan semakin meningkat, mengingat harga durian musang king sangat menjanjikan.
“Tanaman durian ini untuk jangka panjang, untuk jangka pendeknya bisa tanam Porang. Insya Allah saya akan bangun pabrik Porang, dan saya akan membeli tanaman Porang petani,” ungkapnya dan disambut tepuk tangan warga yang hadir.
Turut Hadir dalam kegiatan Sosper tersebut Kepala Desa Betao Alimuddin, Kapolsek Dua Pitue Iptu. Muh Tang, Bhabinsa Betao Riase di wakili Serka. Sinau, Ketua KPH Bila Hariawan, Tokoh Masyarakat dan 200 orang tamu undangan. (fr/ki)
