Makassar, Karebaindonesia.id — Sebagai salah satu wahana permainan air terbesar di Makassar, Bugis Water Park (BWP) menggelar event dengan tajuk Bugis Land Festival.

Bugis Land Festival merupakan event pertama BWP sejak pandemi masuk ke Kota Makassar.

Strategic Marketing Bugis Water Park Adventure, Rallie Karya Agriawan mengakui, pandemi Covid-19 ini sangat berdampak pada sektor perekonomian dan pariwisata.

“Tingkat pengunjung mengalami penurunan sekitar 21% hingga 50% selama pandemi. Dengan hadirnya kegiatan ini, kita ingin mengedukasi masyarakat melalui hidup sehat serta kegiatan bermanfaat seperti menanam pohon dan bersepeda lewat Bugis Land Festival,” kata Rallie kepada Karebaindonesia.id, Sabtu (12/09/2020).

Lanjut Rallie, festival ini juga menghadirkan 22 Usaha Kecil Menengah Mikro (UMKM) yang akan turut meramaikan selama event berlangsung.

“Kebangkitan perekonomian Indonesia itu dimulai dari Indonesia timur, oleh karena itu kita menggaet 22 UMKM yang ada di Kota Makassar untuk bersama-sama membangkitkan perekonomian kita kembali,” tambahnya.

Sementara itu, terkait penyebaran Covid-19, pengelolah Bugis Water Park telah menerapkan protokol kesehatan baik sebelum memasuki area BWP hingga di kolam renang sekalipun.

“Kemarin kita bekerjasama dengan Dinas Pariwisata (Dispar) dan menjadi percontohan wahana wisata,” ungkapnya.

Kendati demikian, Manager Operasional BWP Makassar, Suardi mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya telah memenuhi standar operasional untuk wahana air berdasarkan standar protokol yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan.

“Kami telah menerapkan standar protokol kesehatan yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, seperti kadar PH harus 7,2 sampai 7,8 PH dan kandungan kaporit klorin harus 1 sampai 1,5 CL,” beber Suardi.
